Honest review, great item
Awesome item! Ordered it for my lil miniature project and loved it, as you can see I added moss for cooler look.First off, yes, I would definitely recommend to tape the puzzle circle together! I wouldn’t say it’s flimsy like other reviewers did, but it does come apart easily, but it’s nothing a lil bit of tape won’t fix.Next, you can see the little numbers on the rocks CLEARLY! It was my main concern after reading the reviews, but nope, you can see the numbers very well.I used glue gun to glue the rocks to the puzzle circle so that I can move it around easily, and then I glued the moss on.Overall it was VERY easy to construct, I did it pretty fast too. Definitely a good fit for kids as well as adults. Also, the little booklet that tells you about Stonehenge is very interesting to read!

I really like this size-and the price was right
I really like this size-and the price was right— it is fun and interesting to put the pieces into place. I would give 5 stars, but the numbers on the bottoms of the pieces are difficult to read, so I primarily used images. Would def purchase again, and thinking of getting it as a gift.

I just love this little kit
I just love this little kit! I have long been a big fan of the full-size Stonehenge, so when I saw this I knew I needed to add this to the top of my file cabinet at work. It took only a few minutes to put together - the biggest challenge, as has been mentioned earlier, was seeing the tiny numbers on the bottom of the stones. But a magnifying glass took care of that nicely. I was also delighted to find that the tiny dragon I already had fit perfectly into the center of the ring. He adds just the right note of whimsy. I have received many comments on this in the short time I've had - people seem to like it as much as I do.The one thing I would say is try to resist the temptation to take this out of the box before bringing it to where you will set it up. Getting all the pieces back into the small box was more difficult than putting it together!I highly recommend this!

Perfect little dreamy area!
I adore this. The only difference is that I'll be putting it on a flat, round planter covered in Irish Moss rather than using the rather annoying little cardboard insert. I am however using the insert as a map, and am happy with how they've labelled everything so I can put it together faster. If you are going to use the insert, I highly suggest taping it together to make it stay (which is suggested in the booklet included with the package), or it will not stay together. Also, the numbering on the bottom of the stones is a bit difficult to read, so make certain you're in good light. I used a fine tip sharpie to number them (using the same numbers, of course) so I could read them more easily. Also, if you plan on putting them into a terrarium or a shallow pot as I'm doing, I suggest you do as we've planned, which is to glue small nails onto the bottom of the stones so that they will not fall over once they've been "planted". Highly recommend this to anyone entranced by Stonehenge or Faerie gardens!

Really mini
This is a pretty cool thing, but was even smaller than I expected -- even though I watched a YouTube video of someone assembling it. My main gripe is that the identifying numbers stamped into the bottom of each piece (match up with a number on the green circle) were barely discernible, even when I used a magnifying glass. I ended up using a fine-point Sharpie marker to label them, otherwise we'd have had to go through the whole squinting and sorting process again. As this was intended for a classroom project, didn't want to spend the whole time sorting the pieces. And it will be easier from here on.

So cool
I ordered this after seeing it on Facebook where someone had arranged it in a small dish garden of grass. I've visited Stonehenge a couple of times, the first time had an amazing and mysterious experience so I had to order this to make my own little mini Stonehenge landscape. It arrived today and I love it. Can't wait to get the little clay dish and plant grass for it. The only problem I had was making out the little numbers on the bottom of the stones (that correspond to numbers on the little puzzle bottom that comes with it) so that it could be arranged properly. Luckily I have a book on Stonehenge so I was able to align the stones printed on the puzzle with the actual stones in the photographs in my book to help me figure out the placement of stones with numbers I couldn't read. But I'm 60 and need reading glasses sometimes, which I didn't bother to get. Younger eyes would not have had this problem.

Cute, really small kit
This kit is a really small kit to create your own mini model of Stonehenge. I got two of them and gave them as gifts to homeschool friends who are using the same curriculum for history that we are, since we all were studying Stonehenge at the same time. The "rocks" are very sturdy and well made, and the puzzle mat the "rocks" sit on is a nice, faux-grass-and-rock base for the model. All in all this is really cute and well worth the 20 seconds or so it takes to set it up ;-)The regular size kit makes a model that is about 8" or so in diameter, this one is no more than 3" in diameter. It is really small - a plus when you have very limited space!
