Cheap is cheap!
When I first bought this radio I thought it was too good to be true. Well, I was absolutely right. This is too good to be true. It is made of cheap plastic and cheap materials. It may look good but it does not do justice to what this piece of junk is. Do not buy this radio. Instead spend a few hundred dollars more and buy a good quality radio. If you are planning to sell a car and put a makeshift radio just to sell it this is a good option, but if you are going to use this in your every day car this is not a good radio. It does not fit older cars or older SUVs. The descriptions are off.

Needs a software update
Sounds good but has issues. The radio will change stations during use for no reason. The car play will lock up during use too. When it works it’s great though.

Blaupunkt hits the mark, and then some!
Super easy install. Great quality product, even better than the price suggests. I grew up on Blaupunkt products through my dad in the 80s and 90s and remember how good they sounded then: this radio continues that legacy. I had a single DIN pioneer before that doesn’t hold a candle to the sound quality and features, audio-wise. The 8 channel EQ is great for really dialing in the perfect sound, and the factory speakers sound even better than before (even with the Pioneer)! Apple CarPlay is super smooth and reliable, and while I could do with a little more contrast and deeper blacks on the screen, I seriously cannot complain at 149.99 for this awesome radio. It does everything I need! I am absolutely impressed with it and won’t buy any other brand again.

ABSOLUTE JUNK STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND although low price point with Apple car play.
Update after 3 months!!!! This is absolutely a piece of crap buttons don’t work no way to use volume or change source!!! noticed that start up is slow to come on, should have payed attention to the other reviews blaupunkt was a German made brand now it’s made in China and is terrible in quality!!! The instruction Manual looks like it was printed and made by toddlers Most of the reviews of malfunctions are correct now I am out 150$ having to buy a new unit!!! Stay away or you’ll regret it like me 3 months later!

This thing is junk
The screen touch sensitivity when trying to use navigation is horrible, if you pinch to zoom in or out the screen goes crazy so you are forced to use the arrows which is a minor inconvenience. The buttons on the left stopped working recently as well. This thing is cheap junk and I would not recommend it to anyone no matter how low the price is, in the future I will completely avoid Blaupunkt products and stick with quality brands.

Not the best.
After about 3 months, the left side buttons stopped working. I tried to contact someone in customer support, but I had no luck.

All good so far
Just installed today in a 2000 civic. Easy install, brackets that came with it were used, dash kit bought on crutchfield was partly used. The product itself looks good, slick black, nice features, Bluetooth worked, have not tried Android auto yet. and light touches function the screen. Only had it for a day tho

cheapest way to get carplay/ android auto
the setup was super easy. I already had an aftermarket single din installed on my 1997 Saturn so all I had to do was swap it out with this. Had to groud the park wire to bypass the android auto park lock. I'm planning on putting this in my 2012 rav4 soon! only worth buying bellow 150 DONT OVERPAY! there are much better options at the 200-300 dollar range
