WA50SAS Sump Pump, 1/2 HP, Black

Been using this work horse in a Magnesium Chloride plant for a few months. It’s in the containment to catch all spills and pumps to a storage tank. My last pump lasted 3 years in a mega harsh environment! It still works but the mag ate through the electric housing and shorts it out when submerged. So as long as it’s top is above the mag it works. If I can get 3 years outta this one I’m a happy camper!

This pump is awesome. Kicks on for a couple seconds and is done. Have it in crawlspace because of water getting under footer. Dug down 2 inches past footer, installed pip and rock, ran around whole foundation to this sump pump. Have not had a water issue since install...hope pump last a long time. Great product though for the money.

Sump pump works as advertised. However, the plastic slide for the float was broken in shipment--soI had to rig another slide for the float using a part from a toilet repair kit. No problem for a problem solver. Have been using pump for a couple of months now and it's working great. Also very quiet. I also recommend sitting it on a brick when hooking it up so the float has a full operating range.

We bought this sump pump after our 15 year old pump failed and flooded our basement. THIS PUMP FAILED just weeks after it was installed. Motor was running, but pump stopped working. Thank God we had an alarm which trigger as the water started to overflow. The water was WARM because the motor was still running and HOT. I hate to think of what would have happened had we not been home. And to add insult to injury, AMAZON says it will not refund us as we are beyond the return period?? We purchased this pump less than a month ago??? WHAT?????

We live in a flood zone and our pump quit working. This Water Ace pump arrived in time to be installed right before the next rain storm and it works great and kept the basement from water all over. Very sturdy construction and decent price for this pump.

The 3 stars indicate product arrived on as I have no experience with this brand to indicate otherwise. It was easy to install and is even quieter than the 1/2hp Zoeller pump it replaced. It seems to operate smoothly and gets the job done in excellent fashion. The pump came just in time as promised by Amazon delivery. As I went to install this new WaterAce pump I realized my Wayne back up pump had just died moments earlier. Yes I install this new pump almost shoulder deep but I had it installed in quick order. This pump did sit lower in my sump tank so I had to install two bricks underneath and it was perfect. That is all. If this WaterAce pump fails in short order I’ll be sure to update this review.

Used for pond sprinkler. Works great and is quiet enough to enjoy relaxing by the pond.

Was very easy to install. Powerful output. Very happy with power
