Although more expensive than your bog-standard plastic hose, this hose is really worth the extra.It rarely gets twisted up, doesn't kink and stop the water flowing. My partner and I love it. It's a bit heavier than previous hoses but it winds up well. We're hanging it on a big hook on the fence at the moment - but will buy a spool thing at some point.

So far absolutely no complaints.Does everything as advertised only slight thing for me is that it is heavier than my previous one which was extremely light however kept bursting due to water pressure.This one is much more robust.

Very high quality garden hose that will not kink or twist.20 metres in length and supplied with a nozzle and tap fixings.It is covered in a strong fabric to withstand regular use over hard areas such as patios.The price seems a little high for a garden hose but quality costs.

This is a brilliant hose, especially if you need to move it around anywhere eg. out of the house to the car to take somewhere else, as it’s lighter and more convenient to carry than a normal hose.It’s flexible and doesn’t ever get kinked. Due to the material and flexibility it is also good for fitting into small spaces. For example, to wash my car at the front of our house I need to feed a hose through the house from the back. I also need the door shut due to cats getting out, but can still shut the door as this hose goes almost flat so can feed through the small gap under the door. Amazing!I hope that it will stand the test of time and that the material is tough enough not to wear, but I’m definitely very pleased so far. Would highly recommend to others.

These new tough hoses are fantastic and for me they are miles better than a traditional one. This Gardena one comes in a nicely packaged hexagonal box and has everything you need to start you off. It’s very light weight and when connected the hose becomes rock solid, the standard spray nozzle you get with it works great and it provides a lot of control over the spray pattern so you can get it just right.I use a hose in the garden and for washing the car on a regular basis and this tough hose works great for me. I’ve had many hoses that sprout small leaks mainly due to my sharp gravel drive, hopefully this one should last a lot longer but the fact it has a 30-year warranty gives me a boost in the manufacturer’s confidence. It states that it is kink free which is 100% true, I’ve tried a few times to kink it on purpose, but it just straightens itself out, this is a brilliant feature and one of my most annoying things about traditional hoses. I also like that the hose is UV and frost proof, this alone will help prolong the life of it and help to prevent hairline cracks appearing.Overall, I think this is a brilliant hose and I thoroughly recommend it. If you’re in the market for a new hose and was thinking of getting a traditional one then I would suggest paying a bit more and invest in one of these, you wont be disappointed!

It’s a great hose with a strange ribbing, and it certainly doesn’t kink and is fairly light. It does have specialist connectors, for the cut down profile. I would have to use normal hose to cut down for short lengths. It’s a bit smelly on opening, so it got banished outside rapidly.

I don't use my hose very often as it's a bit of a faff unrolling it to use it, dragging it about, and then rolling it back up again. However this hose is very different to conventional hoses.It's far lighter than my normal hose, and so it's easier to use and far easier to pack away as it is resistant to tangling. It also slides over itself and anything else pretty easily, so I found it didn't get caught when dragging it around my car when washing it.When I disconnected it, it released a lot of the water held in it, so packing it way was fairly straightforward, but I tried to pack it in such a way that it drained as I put it away. I say "put it away", but to be honest I just shoved it in a bucket, much as it came in the box. I tried taking it out again to see if it tangled itself, and it didn't. It really *is* tangle resistant.Other than being light and tangle resistant, it passes water much like any other hose. The connectors didn't leak so much as a drop, which was impressive. Often with these connectors there can be a trickle out of the connection, but there was no leaking at all with this hose.I really like this hose, and highly recommend it.
