My turtles love the taste. It smells horrible to a human, but they are like cats with katnip for this stuff. Looks like turtle poop. Recommend refrigerating before feeding. Seems to not break apart as easily as pellets and doesn’t leave as big of a mess either. Good value for $6-7

So 1st things first this food does stink some but not crazy bad like some people make it seem. I smelled way worse things in my life also some turtles will love the food. Others will hate it, my yellow belly loves it but my GF’s African side neck hates it. Every turtle different some are picky eaters while other are not. I’m lucky my turtle eats almost anything I have her try. Also the moist food looks nothing like the picture on the bag ever. Looks like turtle poop a bit but all that matters is if my turtle eats it. Last don’t forget to refrigerate the food after opening.

I have purchased this many times over the years for our painted turtle but the last two pouches that I purchased in the past 6 months have both started to mold on me quite quickly after being opened. Yes I store it in the Ziploc pouch in the fridge. I'm not sure what the issue is lately but it used to last quite a long time in the fridge. Very disappointed not sure if I will purchase again.

I feed my turtle Turtle Diet about 3-4 times a week for extra nutrition and vitamins. He absolutely loves them, I feed him from a pair of plastic tweezers because they don’t float very well. But packed full of nutrition and he loves them!

Sliders loved this food. Pallets sinks to the button for a change, which turtles love. Refrigerate after opening.The food is tear shape, has a soft consistency, and is grey in color.Only thing I wish was for the words “refrigerate after opening” to be in huge letters. And to get more food for the money.

As you can see from the picture my turtle food arrived looking like pieces of turtle waste. There is nothing round and green about what I received. The bag was also filled with a large amount of putrid liquid which spilled all over my computer, leg and floor, when opening the bag, that was awesome. They are supposed to be moist pellets, not fluid saturated globs I was hopeful this would be something I could add to my turtles diet but I don’t think so.

Our turtle wouldn’t eat anything, then he tried these and it has completely changed the feeding behavior of him! The quality is SPOT ON! It has a very strong fish smell which is typical for this kind of product to attract the turtle to eat. Value for money is great as there is typically a sale that runs for these!

My aquatics turtles eat it as fast as I can throw in the pond
