Yogitoes Yoga Mat Towel - Non Slip, Sweat Wicking with Patented Skidless Technology, Highly Absorbent

As mentioned in my other review for the smaller towel, this white towel does a really good job of mopping up sweat during hot yoga. I did end up ordering more yoga towels in the tie die color because the white color shows every mark. I do slip on the towel a bit, however, it does give you much more security than no towel at all. This may be due to the mat I have underneath, which is a biodegradable mat with jute interwoven. During my practice I find that I must smooth out the towel because it bunches up, but obviously, this is not a deal breaker since as you see I've given this 4 stars. The towels works better when it is slightly wet. Also the fact that it keeps your mat underneath cleaner is a nice bonus.

This mat is a good weight and thickness, and it grips the mat well for hot yoga. It is a pretty color. However, be forewarned that as stated, you must wash this mat a few times to get excess dye out. Also, it stained my yoga mat a bit. It doesn't bother me but I think potential buyers should be forewarned if you are using it for hot yoga.

I got this towel because my mat was very slippery. I love it for hot yoga. I've found that i have to be care when I wash it and not use too much soap or the cloth gets to soft and my hands and feet slip and slide... Overtime my mat has gotten less slippery with washing and use and I haven't needed the towel. I also have a hard time washing it after each class, I attend several during the week. If your mat gets really wet in yoga class, then this is the perfect mat for you. I carefully priced these online to find the best price. This color was by far the cheapest and i could beat the price anywhere. I ordered it along with my mat and the arrived in just a few days.

This was a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. I have had the same yogitoe for almost 9 years now (a bit gross, I know) and it has held up like new! I have gotten a few new ones since then because I practice so much. You can wash and dry them with no issue to the longevity of the material. Love these things, will never use another brand!!

I have only used the towel once so far, but it worked great. The only time it moved was when we "flipped the dog" and I had to swing my leg over from being in downward dog into upward bow, or wheel pose. See [...] for a pic.The towel is very soft and big enough to cover my mat. I also love the dot in the middle/top of the mat. When I press down to the ground in the vinyasa flow, I dropped down straight toward the dot.Love the yellow color, too! Haven't washed it yet, but I don't care about washing it separately the first couple of times. We have a clothesline, so I'll probably dry it outside.

Works very well compared to a regular bath towel. If you plan to get into hot yoga, then definitely worth it. Looks great and easy to take care of (washing machine and then hang dry). Definitely makes a difference!

In my experience this is a pretty solid yoga mat. It sticks pretty well and only bunches up a little if your twisting around on it a bunch. I find it does need to be sprayed down a little before I start my class but with a little plain water your hands or feet wont slip. For the price I would say it is a good deal. I would probably suggest a color other than white because it can get dirty easily-but the mat is also very easy to clean.

I need my yogitoes to practice, and having these perfectly-sized ones has made a big difference. My mat feels so much larger in my practice now that I've gained an inch or more on the borders.
