Enjoyed this puzzle
This is one to add to your collection: had ALL the pieces, not easy/difficult with a slight challenge and entertaining, pieces fit firmly but fell apart easily when lifted and disassembled, good quality, not the standard cut puzzle, which helped with similar color pieces. Overall it was the expression of the women that makes this puzzle.

Such a fun image, and so fun to work on with my sister!
I have two sisters and this was such a fun image and puzzle for us to work on together over a lake vacation. The grandkids could help out here and there, and it was great for some family fun and a few reminiscent laughs of county fair days, and Mom's favorite recipes!

Challenging puzzle that tells a great story; a 4.5 star puzzle!
Let me just say, I LOVE doing jigsaw puzzles and this one didn’t disappoint. I have been longing to have this puzzle for about a year, when I first saw it on another website that does puzzle reviews. Just look at these ladies! With the skillful way this talented artist captures facial expression, you can almost hear these competitors’ thoughts about each other's bakewares. It was fun to become the judge and decide who was the winner and who was the loser. Despite where I placed each baker in the contest, I still longed to have a huge slice of every one of those delicious-looking cakes. What a hoot! The puzzle wasn’t too hard, but it wasn’t that easy for me, either. It’s cut using a slightly deviated grid instead of the standard puzzle grid. The deviation wasn’t exaggerated, but coupled with the grid was the tight fit of the puzzle pieces. This did throw me off somewhat. Because of this tighter fit and this being cut on a slightly different grid, at times, I wasn’t sure if I was trying to force pieces to fit with one another. They were more difficult to snap together than what I’m used to doing since I usually buy Ravensburger puzzles which snap together with ease. Of course, the upside to this tighter fit is you can pick up and move portions of assembled pieces without anything falling apart. I picked up and moved a 20-piece assembled section with absolutely no difficulty. In fact, when I finished, I picked up the entire puzzle just to see if I could and nothing came apart. That being said, would I buy another puzzle by this company knowing how tight the pieces are? I don’t know. I suppose it all comes down to how much I like the puzzle itself. Still, it’s nice to know I do have another choice and can include SunsOut puzzles when I do searches here at Amazon.Another challenge, but much more enjoyable, was the similarity of some skin tones and the background wall. However, with careful organizing and sorting, I managed to finally place the last piece. Overall, the colors in the puzzle seem to be even more vibrant than the picture on the box. The box is bigger than my other puzzles, but that’s not a bad thing, because there’s no poster included, and the box cover gave me an amply-sized reference picture while assembling this. The puzzle pieces themselves are a nice size and easy to see, especially for my tired old eyes. They’re also a nice thickness, about a millimeter thicker than a penny. So this makes the puzzle sturdy and of good quality. The box containing the puzzle, though, is not that thick, but just sufficient. The puzzle comes in its own plastic bag, and there is very little dust in the box or the bag. There are no enclosures in the box, no small catalog of SunsOut’s collection, only a slip of paper with a code number and info if you need to get in touch with the company with any feedback. So I’m assuming from this information that they will work with you if you have a problem with their puzzles, e.g., a missing piece. Fortunately, my puzzle had no missing pieces.Overall, I would say this puzzle is fun and challenging. I’m not especially fond of the tight fit, but that’s my preference. You might like that because of the ability to move large portions of the puzzle with ease. I personally like having the pieces fit together effortlessly. So with this consideration, for me this is 4.5 star puzzle and not just a 4.

Fun Puzzle ~ Loose Pieces!
I LOVED doing this puzzle!!! These four ladies are such a hoot! Only complaint ~ the puzzle pieces were so loose, and if I tried to move any as a group they would pop out ~ very frustrating!

Cheap puzzle
As a senior citizen well up in years, I started working 1000-piece puzzles a few months ago for past-time with a friend. I believe this one is number 7 since the first of this year. Of all the puzzles I've handled, this one is by far the cheapest, poorest quality of them all. Pieces are not cut through making you have to pull them apart, doing damage to the pieces in the process. I could probably get at least 1/4 cup of sawdust out of the box, leaving a mess every time I work with it. I'm thinking about sending it back.
