The jigsaw is of very good quality, quite challenging, and the print is sharp. One suggestion to improve it - the print is fairly glossy so it is somewhat reflective of overhead light. If you build the jigsaw in daylight or in oblique light, no problems; if the light is directly overhead you’ll be bobbing your head around, good style.

This is from an original panel painting of 1559, when pigment and techniques were less advanced, not a computer generated puzzle, so the colour/hues/light make it much more challenging to do - and also more satisfying to complete. The artist would obviously have worked up close but it would have actually been viewed from a distance, so you're seeing it as he did until you can step back and see the whole thing - just as his public would have done - and this for me gave it a new and original perspective of a jigsaw.I did get a bit "nerdy" then and Googled the painting to see what all the different elements were, and that gave me yet another level of enjoyment. It is expensive when compared to the price in the EU, so you may have to restrict yourself on how many you buy (this is my second), but I will be doing another

This really could do with a spare picture to aid the puzzler

The image on the box does not match the actual jigsaw. The jigsaw image is larger than the image displayed on the box. It mainly impacts the vertical borders though does differ on the horizontal borders as well.Useful to know when trying to figure out the edge pieces.

It's a puzzle based on a very fine medieval painting. The quality and colours are excellent but it is expensive.

We have no car so have spent a lot of time at home with a jigsaw. This expensive one promised to be wonderful.The only picture is the one on the box and the outline does not correspond to the constructional outline making it very difficult to get the construction moving. Also the pieces while fitting precisely have no "cling" capability and the slightest shake separates them! The picture is great and very difficult since there a re lots of room only matched by colour (we accept this) but we have to use a rigid flat surface not the folding constructional bag.So I'm looking for a better surface in our small Flat like a piece of wood cut to size - I'm determined to finish it ! !

Ich habe das Puzzle verschenkt und die Beschenkte hat sich riesig gefreut und sofortangefangen, es zusammenzusetzen. Die Ware kam unversehrt und schnell hier an.

This is the third Lais puzzle of Bruegel paintings we have done and is a departure in image transfer and puzzle cutting quality. We enjoyed it and don't regret it but be advised of this aspect. It was quite difficult with many pieces to see a clear image. Also it happened a few times that more than one puzzle piece would fit into a space often of similar pattern or color.
