Tool box came with some dents but I’m a welder so fixed them pretty quick. Great boxes.

Fast shipping and well built box. Wasn’t for sure of the construction of it. I was pretty surprised how well it looks. Definitely would buy again!

Like all Byers product this frame mounted storage box is excellent quality and should last a lifetime. My quibble is with the lousy way it was packaged. It came in a tight fitting cardboard box with one 3" wide strip of paper thin foam wrapped around the middle of the item. This foam was not adequate enough to keep the sides of the box from rubbing on the cardboard and as a result all 6 sides of the storage box are burnished as if someone took 220 grit sandpaper to it. I guess I'll have to hit it with some black Rustolium before installing it since, if I return it, with their poor packaging, the replacement will probably be the same or worse.

Heavy built. Be sure to have an extra set of strong hands. The size is perfect. I installed the tool box on a stepdeck trailer. Plenty of room. I'll watch the screws and rivits. Gotta stay on top if those, my other toolbox they started to vibrant out. The key lock seems a bit tough to turn. I'll lube the locks to see if that helps. Overall I'm very happy and wish I'd have bought the buyers box first. So far no dirt is getting past the seals. I'll keep an eye on it and update later.

Have ordered several of these and installed on both underside or truck as well as trailers. A few of them leak, and it's not from improper adjusting the handle to close tightly. I can't figure out where or how the water is getting in, but it is. Additionally, they need some kind of vent to allow moisture to vent out when the temps change throughout the day. All in all a good box, but can be improved on

For the money I think this is a good buy. The door latch works well after being lubed, it's plenty sturdy, the paint is good. My only complaint is the welded seams are pretty rough. They're not straight, they don't have a nice radius grind, they're a little on the rough side. Honestly it's probably a non-issue for just about anyone but it did make installing it for me a little more challenging as my holes didn't line up on account of not accounting for the imperfect dimensions.

I had to return the first set because of big dents and scratches, second set had the same dents to looks like it’s a manufacturing issue, also the lid is not straight, it’s crooked on all 4 units I bought, and the gaskets are cheap and one after just 1 week one gaskets already peeling off. Build quality is worse than China, welds are terrible they didn’t even bother to grind them down, take the proudly made In USA sticker off, it’s not deserving of that. Whole reason I bought these is because it’s American made. Better off buying the China vevor brand , my buddy had those and it’s 2x the box for half the price. Will be returning….again!

Great quality for price, easy to assemble, locks well, not too thick of metal, bit heavy. Well painted
