this is a great idea BUT what they dont tell you is that it wont fit all motels or hotel doors. I found that out at the first place we stayed at. So it's good to have around but it's not a sure thing. ok got to are 2nd stat an Airbnb apartment but once again this thing is not its advertised as. If the lock your using it on is a perfect match like in the commercial or instructional booklet it will work great in theory. But in real life for us it didn't work and one motel and at the Airbnb place you can see in the picture that this front door is not a thight seal so again this thing g does not work as designed or promised. I had to shove the red part into the gap and the door gap is just a hair smaller that the red part. So at most this thing would give up some sort of warning if someone is trying to force open the door but after a few trys I got the door open. So strike 2. Over I didn't really pay to much for this thing but it's at best a mediocre detuernet.

First of all, the only instructions are pictures on the back of the box, there are no other pictured or written instructions. I tried it in 3 doors in my house and couldn't get it to work at all. None of the doors would close with the lock inserted as it looked in the pictures. It did say that it may not work on all doors but to work on no door in my house seemed really bizarre. It comes with a little drawstring pouch. I put the product in the pouch and pulled the strings to close it and the string on one side came completely out. I simply don't understand products that don't include some simple instructions or trouble-shooting tips. This might be a decent product if I could figure out how to use it but the lack of instructions made that impossible.

Amazing door lock/jammer. Super easy to install and works. just make sure you orient to red part like i dod in the picture, with the round/pointed end facing fldown, as stated this doesn’t fit every latch but works with most modern, my latch is old but i still managed to make it work

Tried on two different hotel room deadbolts and the the hole in the product was too small so the deadbolt would not pass through. Unusable in 2 out of 2 attempts.

A great gadget for travelers. I'm glad someone thought of this. I haven't used it yet, but it looks well-made, sturdy, and pretty easy to install.

Looks like crap but works as advertised.

Use it when my husband travels for extra security. Will also use when I travel. It is super easy to install and remove, came with instructions that were easy to read and follow. Also came with travel case.
