I must have read the reviews of every spoon-rest on Amazon, and ended up buying this one. We liked it well enough that we bought 2 more. Not only is this a good spoon rest, we bought two more as sponge dish for kitchen sinks. The design is more space efficient than any other, as it is rectangular, with most of the surface flat, so most of the surface is usable. We liked the tray shape with the loop handle at the end. We can place rest two medium sized spatulas on it at the same time. The product is heavy and solid, very substantial. It looks good near our stainless steel sinks, faucets, cooktops, etc.Now, for the annoying huge sticker. Yes, it was designed to annoy. I first used a razor blade to help remove the sticker. That took 3-4 minutes and got rid of 99% of the paper, leaving small amount of sticky gunk. I think scrubbing with detergent would have removed the rest of the sticky gunk. However, I simply sprayed a bit of automotive bug tar remover on the plate, and the gunk came off easily. The total time to scrape off the sticker and wipe away the gunk was less than 10 minutes for two of these spoon-rests.BTW, after reading the reviews of just about every sink sponge tray/dish on Amazon, we did not buy any of them and bought two of these instead. I feel this product is more solid than any of the sponge dishes and the simple lines are more elegant.Update: I bought my 4th one in January.

I am tired of gooey spoons and spatulas leaving a mess on the stove top but I needed something that would stand up to being dropped accidentally or pushed too close to the heat. This stainless steel spoon rest is just what I was looking for. I can even put a spatula in it if I lay the spatula on its side. The spoon rest is sturdy, attractive, easy to clean, and will not scratch the surface it sits on. I like the covered handle so that even if the rest gets warm, the handle will be safe to touch. The spoon rest has some weight to it and appears to be of good quality. This is a great addition to my kitchen tools. Amazon has such an extensive selection of items and the customer reviews are such a big help when I am trying to choose the item best suited to my needs.

I've owned this spoon rest for more than three years now, and it's probably one of the simplest devices in the kitchen, yet it's one of my favorites. It's large enough to accomodate any cooking utensil that needs a resting place. It's made of high quality brushed stainless steel, so no stain or grease will stay on it through a dishwasher cycle, and it looks great too!I have no problems with the design, finish, or size; it fits between the two burners in the rear of our electric stovetop, and is always ready to accept some grimy cooking utensils. It's heavy enough that it doesn't move unless you want it to.Highly recommended--buy one of these and you'll likely never need another.

My review on Amco Spatula Spoon Rest:I cook a lot. Though I am not versed in cookware, I did need something to set my spatulas and spoons on and I often prefer stainless steal.This spoon rest is large enough for my largest spatulas and the lip along the edge is perfect for keeping juice from dripping off the spatula and going onto my counter.I was surprised by the weight of the spoon rest. It is definitely a block of metal. But at least I know it's durable.It's worth going through the process of taking of the label that is a horrible sticker to try to work through. (I used hot water, soap, and the rough end of a sponge to get it off)

This spoon rest is what I needed in order to have a place to set multiple stirring and turning tools when I cook. Because it's large enough, it will hold two or even three spatulas, wooden spoons and meat turners. Priceless if you hate setting spoons covered with sauce on your beautiful counters! Because it's stainless, it cleans easily, as well. A quick swish with a Dobie pad, and it's ready for the next cooking session.

I LOVE THIS!!!! It is so well made, it is from one piece of metal, well balanced, it does not move unless you move it.It feels great and washes up well.The utensils fit perfectly, and I won't worry that it might melt. I am going to order another for my other counter, and possibly one for my daughter.It will not break nor crack and it is understated on the counter.Oh, and lucky me, no stickers to deal with, they should do that with most kitchen products, place the stickers on the tags.UPDATE!!! I ordered 2 more of these for myself and my daughter.They exceed my expectations. All of my spoons and cutlery fit and they do not stain..They are so easy to clean, they will never burn or beak and they truly are so nice to look at. Great product.!!!
