This camera is decent. We LOVED this when we set it up. The instructions are a little hard to understand due to the extremely broken English it's written in. Their app has also updated, so it doesn't follow the instructions very well either, we just had to figure it out on our own. However, we purchased it to see our pup while we are out and about. We wanted to be sure that she wasn't getting into anything she's not supposed to. We quickly learned when we left the day we set it up, that you need to be connected to Wifi to view the camera. It doesn't have to be the wifi the camera itself is on, but we got it so we could see what she was up to wherever we were, and you can't do that with this camera.Now, that being said, the picture quality is pretty great. The night vision works really well, and its easy to control from your phone. If you are looking to get this purely as a baby monitor I think it would work GREAT for you. But, it just didn't fulfill what we were looking for, so we will be returning it.

I ended up returning this cam after one day. You can't control the volume, and when it starts up it is SO LOUD. The voice says "SYSTEM IS STARTING"...."SYSTEM IS CONNECTING".... "SYSTEM IS CONNECTED."It does this every time you open the app. So if you exit the app and you want to check back in, it will do this all over again. I researched for ways to disable the sound or lower it, and you can't change this function. It will wake up any child or baby.Also the cord is very short. I wanted to put it on the shelf in my daughter's room, but it wouldn't reach, so I would've had to mount it to the wall. It just wasn't ideal and wasn't the right match for me, so I returned it and bought a different WiFi camera with volume controls and a longer cord.

I must say at first I was a little worried about purchasing this item but I am so glad that I did. I have 2 German Shepard dogs that we are trying to train and teach some manners to and I put this in the Laundry room with them so I can watch them, talk to them, and tell them to stop when they are doing something bad. I was having a hard time setting it up at first only to find out the Camera needed to be updated through the app on my phone. It was super fast and extremely easy to use and set up. So happy with this purchase.

Best quality I have tried. Best night vision, great picture quality and very easy to install your self. This is coming from someone that tried something different more than twice before but this has been the best so far.

Can only use its wifi and no other wifi at same time so have to switch everytime or have monitor without wifi... do like you can take pictures with it... after it updated it will not stay in place, I cannot keep camera on daughter as it moves and takes 10 min. Because of lagging to find the right view again! Horrible but too late for me to return! More wasted money!

This camera was impossible to setup. Took over an hour and 2 people and never got it connected to my in home WiFi. Returned for a different camera that connected right away

I bought it from Amazon last month. Mainly I want to watch my baby when he is sleeping, so simply for at-home use. I knew it because one of my friend bought it for his parents. They are old and have no one to take care of them. So he usually connects to this video monitor and make sure everything is fine with them which can avoid two hours driving back home. Anyway, it works well for me and even I had a lot of fun with it because I can see a lot of funny face expression on my baby's face. And I use recording function sometimes. Sure, it helped to keep baby safe.
