What is the id and id of the hose itself?

The ID of the hose itself is 1.25" - so one of the ends will fit 1.25" attachments, the other will slide into shop vacuum cuffs between 2" - 2.25". Cen-Tec sells similar shop vac hoses with a 1.5" diameter hose if you want need additional airflow.

Does it work with Kenmore upright?

This hose is intended to work with shop vac diameter connections of 2". I'm not familiar with that upright, but usually they use smaller diameter hose connections. This would work with an adapter though.

The outer diameter of the hose end is 1.25", fitting all standard 1.25" vacuum tools. The shop vac end measure 2.125" in outer diameter, and tapers larger as it fits into the male end of the shop vacuum. It will fit all standard shop vac brands up to 2.25".
