So far so happy with this tablet
I argued with myself for days about buying another tablet to replace my Samsung 7" TabA. Anyway, I gave in and made this purchase and I'm so glad that I did. It really does live up to it's physical description, ultra thin, lightweight etc. The only problem that I found was that it's almost too lightweight if that makes sense. The edges are so sensitive that while holding it I kept minimising or closing down the page I was on. Also I found it a bit slippery to handle and felt it might easily slip from my grasp, fall, and break. I immediately ordered a suitable , good quality cover which has instantly solved the problems. Yes, it's now heavier but not too heavy so I like that. Also, I'm not handling the edges of the screen and accidentally closing pages, plus the cover stand makes it easy to prop up on a table or my lap so less handling and much easier to work with. I highly recommend investing in a good quality case. I'm used to Samsung phones and tablets so I felt comfortable with the layout straight away. It was very easy to use the Samsung Smart Switch App to transfer all my data from my previous tablet to this one in just a few minutes, the same as I have done with my Samsung smart phones. It has a good, high quality screen. Fabulous for photo's and Kindle reading and all my usual browsing. So far so good and I'm a happy bunny.

I bought this tablet for my controlling ex in 2019, about half a year later we broke up. Would recommend.

Cracking Android Tablet
This is a great tablet, very impressed Samsung. There are plenty of review videos kicking around, so I won't go into too much detail, but there are a few things worth mentioning. This tablet is light and thin, really thin, honestly almost too thin! I have a Note 8 which is 250g, this tablet is just 400g. That means holding it for reading is almost effortless, at night with the bluelight filter it's a great device for reading kindle books. A slim Spigen case is perfect to project this little device. The fingerprint reader on the power button doesn't get enough credit. You don't even need to click the button, just hover on it. It reads at the same time, powers on and you are signed in for one press, it's quick and convenient. Have a finger on each hand so you are covered for portrait or landscape sign in, it's perfect.Android 9, with One UI on works great at this size/form-factor. Do a quick search in the Samsung store for Good Look, install their add-onsand it supercharges it! Split-screen is a pleasure to use.One cool thing, I found a USB C to USB A adapter, this means I can connect my camera (750D) and download my pictures straight to the tablet. If you are in the market for a solid Android tablet, you can't go far wrong with this one. If you want to rule everything, then wait for the S6, but if you want a nice, solid, companion device, you will like this one.

Exceptional value
I've had several Samsung tablets previously that I've retired for various reasons. My prior Tab 4 was just getting a bit slow so I replaced it with this. With £50 off on Black Friday and given that the tab S6 is out, this was a great buy at £329.The tablet is really slim and feels luxurious to the touch. On getting it out of the box, the initial time to charge it to 100% felt a bit slow but since I normally set it on charge overnight, in reality this isn't a problem. I'm a huge fan of Android over iOS and set up of this as with any other Android device is really simple - especially if you've had one previously. The display is ultra clear and responsive. Far superior to my work iPad Air. Crystal clear display and blue light options. Sound is equally great. Given that I mentioned that speed of using my older Tab 4 was an issue to me, this tablet is immensely quick. I flick between various apps really quickly and haven't encountered a single issue to date on that front. My only gripe, and I saw several comments about this both on Amazon and Samsung Support's website, is that the tablet appears to like dropping off it's WiFi connection randomly for some reason. If I'm playing an online game then this proves massively frustrating.

Perfect for watching video content
I decided to upgrade to this from my 5 year old ipad mini which I used primarily for all the usual video services, netflix prime video disney+ twitch YouTube etc.I did a fair bit of research as I didnt want to overspend but also wanted the best bang for my buck.I quickly ruled out a newer ipad or ipad mini and was torn between this and the Samsung tab 6 lite. I settled with this one and was not disappointedIf you are like me and just want a decent tab for video content this is the one to go for, yes the tab 6 lite is newer and the same price as the but it actually has a worse screen (1080p only, this is QHD 1440p) and less speakers so the tab 6 lite has worse audio quality.I highly recommend this product a great mid range tablet for watching video in the best possible detail at this price point

Excellent, you won't be disappointed with this tablet.
I was deciding between a tab 6 lite and this tablet as they were similar prices, tab 6 lite is newer but I wanted the Amoled screen. I was also unsure whether to get the 6gb ram, 128 storage or 4gb ram 64gb storage and went for the 4gb ram in the end which works perfectly well and is fast enough for me. The screen is lovely and can be used in bright light outside. The speaker are also really good. I have not noticed any WiFi issues. Regarding the jelly effect when scrolling, yes you can see it but it's not too bad and as soon as you stop scrolling you can quickly clearly read what you need to, for me it's not noticeable enough to stop me thinking this is an excellent tablet.

Great tablet at a good price.
This tablet is fast. The sound is brilliant when you turn on Dolby Atmos in the settings. In fact I was blown away by the sound using Dolby Atmos.Really great screen, nice and bright and colourful. Very sharp. And it's a surprisingly lightweight tablet. Even with arthritis I have no problem holding it for long periods. Well worth the money especially with the £50 discount at the moment. It doesn't have a headphone socket but there's an adaptor in the box to connect headphones thru the USB C connector which works
