Works to repair 2004 Sienna shift link cable issues. Fits fine to keep the cable taut so that you can restore the shifter and not have to use the emergency shifter release button each time.Always check your brake lights and the brake light switch first if you have issues with the van shifting knob is locked in Park. A blown fuse, a bad brake pedal light switch, or brake lights that are out, can cause the Sienna to require pushing the small shifter release button in order to get it to shift (the button is hidden under a plastic cover on the shifter bezel (plastic shifter trim on the dash) itself.This is for when the shifting cable grommet rots and falls to pieces internally. Check all the brake circuit first before getting into the dash to replace this.

Perfect for Toyota Sienna 2006
I first got the other $30 version from amazon but they used US postal service, which have a bad record of losing packages... which they did, then I found this one which was way cheaper and came with the exact same item and grease. Fits perfect. it was a little tight going on but it works fine. you will have to really push hard to get all the way seated into the toyota shifter. the little black tool (press) that comes with it only helps with the majority of the insert push, I had to use pliers to seat the rest of the way, no issue so far. go with this one for a little cheaper price and they delivered it via UPS, with higher less chance of delivery mistakes.

Use a 5/16 socket to tap the bushing into place
Worked perfect on my 2006 Sienna. Hard to get bushing on by hand. Used a 5/16 socket to tap the bushing into place. Perfect.

Fits 2008 Toyota Sienna
The media could not be loaded. Fit like a glove. Be sure to use the lubricant that comes with it.1. Make sure the old plastic bushing is completely removed2. Lubricate the pin before installing the bushing3. Install the bushing with the slits facing out and the side with no slits facing in.4. Lubricate the ring on the end of the cable5. Use the black round button looking tool to push the cable ring onto the bushing, center the cable ring and push on it until it goes past the slits on the bushing
