Platinum Grinders Herb Grinder with Pollen Catcher - Large 2.5 Inch 4 Piece, Black Aluminum

Wow wow wow. I was skeptical because of the price but I am SOOOOOO glad I got it. This was a full price purchase and NOT free for my review.The unit fits great in my hand and has a nice weight to it.The threads on this are smoooooooth. The tines are sharp and cut perfectly for herbs. I took advice from a few reviews here and I just held it upside down to cut finer. It was sooo easy to grind this all up. See photo please. Nothing is sticking which was one of my main concerns. They do include a tiny little scraper if needed tho.The magnet is strong and held nicely.Screen for kief is great. No herb gets thru and catches plenty.So maybe I will update this review once I've had it for awhile if anything changes.

It's simply put the best, most reliable grinder I've used. In the past 6 years I've bought two of these and I will probably keep using it in the future. The only reason I replace is that after A LOT of use it does start to get dirty and hard to grind. I could clean it but for less than $20 I could get a brand new one so I'd rather just buy it. You'll also be able to call all your friends jabronies for paying well over $50 for a grinder of equal or significantly lesser value. For the money I doubt you can do much better.

I've had this grinder for about 3 months and between my roommate and I, it gets decent use. The 2.5" is a good size so you're able to fit a lot of whatever you choose to grind in there. However the catcher is not as big as it should be for how much you are able to grind. The bottom "kief catcher" is amazing! Tons of kief drops through because the grinder has a lot of teeth.At the end of the day, this is the best grinder you can get for the price! It grinds smoothly and produces a nice consistent product. Definitely better than one you'll find for double the price at a smoke shop

This grinder was easy to use, until I unscrewed the bottom chamber. Near the end of the threading, it became extremely hard to turn, at two different spots. Did the same as I put it back together. Did the same as I unscrewed it again. So I quit. Maybe it would have loosened up after use.....but I returned it instead, for a refund.I had planned to buy another one to send to a friend who has never used a grinder before. That's not gonna happen now.Honestly, I do not know if this is a good grinder or not. Ya know? Maybe I got a fluke and my experience is a rare one.

I love how it catches all the pollen at the bottom compartment for later use. Feels really premium and solid. Most people complain that the magnet in the middle gets broken easily but mine is still working perfectly. Just try to avoid putting any of your "spices" in the center of the grinder because all that stuff gets stuck in the middle pretty easily. Also it grinds them a little too finely if you want it to feed on to the second compartment so try less rotations or whatever works for you.I don't like the huge logo on the cap but it does what its intended and it does it great.I would totally buy it again

This grinder is worth every penny, I have been salivating over a Santa Cruz shredder but for 17 bucks this grinder was a steal. The teeth are fine and plentiful. The grinder gives your herb a perfect fine cut shredding so you can pack a tight bowl. I wouldn't consider any other grinder over this price point now having owned this one. The benefits from an $80 grinder compared to this one are marginal. In fact, nothing comes to mind that I would want more from my grinder. There's a plastic gasket that resides between the lid and shredding compartment, at times it squeaks a little. Besides that, the only other complaint is the logo, I buy black to be inconspicuous, then there's a white logo on top. This grinder is fully deserving of a 5 star rating.

Okay I wanted to wait a while before I posted a review on this product so it's been over 8 months since I purchased this grinder.If your looking for a simple, solid, sleek looking grinder, you found it. I have zero complaints about this, I'm only sorry I didn't get it sooner.Grinder has a "pollen" collector at the bottom which is a must for me. Comes with a little plastic thingy to collect it without wasting any. :)It grinds everything up nicely and feels like it wI'll last me forever. The top piece and the part with the teeth for grinding are magnetic so they attach nicely without the magnetic force being too strong. This is a quality item that will last and I can't see how anyone could be disappointed in this product. Doesn't say on here but I believe it's made in the USA by what I've found online.5/5 Can't say enough good things about this grinder especially for the price. I've used many different grinders at different prices. This is my pick.

Love the grinder. Having just taken up the use of dry herbs, I bought a tiny aluminum grinder from the local smoke shop. It sort of works, but not well at all. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Platinum grinder--it is awesome and made short work of my grinding needs. I will certainly recommend it to anyone who asks. I know you one can spend a lot more on a grinder, but I'm not sure how they would work any better. So, I am totally satisfied.

I ordered this for a gift. It is shown here with the logo on top of Platinum Grinder. What I received is the CHEAP version with NO logo and in a thin brown box that was in very worn condition. There is absolutely no paperwork for instructions or warranty or anything! Just a non discript thing in a nondescript box! Looked like an old trinket I dug out of my grandmas cupboard after 8 years. Certainly could not give as a $34. Gift. Sheer crap, what you guys get away with! Disgusted
