Yes it only comes with one page of instructions, but it was not really too difficult to assemble. Putting it together at the end was easier with two people though. I held off on buying this last year, as there were not a lot of reviews and I didn’t know if it would turn out right. I bought a cheaper metal one instead. This year there were more reviews from people who have bought it since then, and I decided to go for it. This is probably the nicest looking hammock chair stand out there, and it is very sturdy. It is heavy to move, but otherwise exactly what I was looking for!

This hammock stand feels like a piece of art. It is gigantic; way bigger than I expected. But with the semi-thin lines of the wood, it doesn’t encroach on the space too much. I love the wood color. I plan to add fairy lights to snaz it up a bit. Assembly instructions were laughable. Obviously we figured it out, but oh man do you need two people and patience. You basically have to read the paper’s mind because they don’t spell it out for you.

Unlike several whom have commented, I have set mine up indoors. It is a beautiful solid piece. Assembly was a bit of a pain-do not tighten EVERYTHING immediately as you will have to loosen to line up. Make sure you have plenty of space and it will get awkward if assembling alone.My big issue is safety on this otherwise no complaints. It WILL tip backwards with slightest shift. Sitting down in the hammock can and will tip it if not sitting very gently and slightest swing while in hammock will lift legs off floor/ground. If outside I suggest stabilize with stakes or attach something to back to prevent tipping backwards. If inside, I suggest making sure it is not in open space and something to prevent damage (padding of some sort) on stand and wall when it shifts backwards.Another note, I did have a missing piece for assembly. Service was excellent with replacing missing piece and actually sent a spare with it. It took a couple weeks though to receive the part though.

This stand is a great addition to my hanging Hammock chair. The wood is beautiful and looks great on our deck.

My husband read all of the reviews before we purchased two of these stands, one of which warned to assemble the top bolt first which enabled him to put the stands together quickly (with my extra pair of hands required for just a few minutes). They are a bit bulky so we suggest having a decent idea of where you want to place them since you won't want to keep moving them. We've had many compliments!

Beautiful and sturdy! The assembly requires a bit of common sense and the directions is only one image (unlike IKEA where it’s step-by-step) and requires 2 people, though can be done in less than 30 min.Not great for small spaces as it is sturdy (large base) but stunning and exactly what I was looking for! Love!

The most mighty egg stand

I sent this message to the supplier“We bought this swing stand along with the recommended swing about a month ago. My wife is the only person to sit in it at 125 pounds and one of the supports began splitting. To be honest, the unit would have been a pain to ship back so,as you can see, I repaired it myself. Two bolts to stop the splitting and glue to fix the top. I recognize that I probably voided the warranty but I really want to alert you and Amazon that,although beautiful, the quality of the swing stand is poor.” Anything you can do to help us would be appreciatedWe did not received a reply
