I bought these shoes to wear as part of a costume. They fit as expected however, there is a bit of an old bulge around the top of the foot. Looks a bit strange from straight on. Not enough that I couldn't use it for a costume. I wore them for about 8 hours of standing and walking before I had to take them off. I think that is pretty good for a pair of shoes I didn't bother to break in.At first it was awkward to button up the shoes, but after a few times you figure it out and goes much easier.The only real problem is that the top of the shoe is a bit restrictive and rough. Not so tight as to be a huge deal for me, but combined with the rough material I was worried about getting a blister. Wear with tights or socks!

Cute, but they run SO SMALL that the adult size 6 is too tight on my 8-year-old who wears a size 5 in the children's section at Payless (last bought shoes there a week ago, and so that's definitely her current size). I bought these hoping a couple pairs of thick socks would make them usable for the day they're needed for, and instead she could hardly get her right foot into a shoe, and refused to try the other because her right toes hurt so much. I've never seen shoes run so small. Now we don't have enough time to get another pair. I'm pretty mad that the sizing is THIS off. Half a size either way, no biggie, but we're talking more than a size off.

seems most people bought these for cosplay reasons, but I bought them for day to day wear. they are surprisingly comfortable for a heel of any height for me (I have low arch, so this is something that is next to impossible). They were originally a nod to my love of the look of vintage shoes to a shoe that has been one of my best friends in these winter months. the snap buttons seem intimidating at first, but they are quite easy to snap once you get the motion downI am glad I listened to the recommendations to size up, though. I am a true 9 and the size 10 fit me perfectly.

I purchased these boots to go with my Victorian Walking habit. I wasn't sure what to expect as the price was so reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised! They are perfect. I wear a size 6 so bought a size 6M and they fit perfect and are very comfortable! The snaps were hard to do up at first, but I got the hang of them. I will be giving historic walking tours in my town and plan to wear them all day. Great buy for synthetic boots.

I wear a lot of Victorian clothing and because I was afraid that the size would run small I purchased a much larger size. I don't have tiny ankles so I found that snapping the boot up at the ankles was a bit of a chore, but since I bought a larger size they fit fine, look good enough and I can wear them most of a day with walking on and off throughout the day. I found that the white portion of the shoe is not a true white and when I tried to clean off the scuffs that the color came off too and I just used water and a magic sponge. They are more economical than many of the other shoes on the market in this style and although Walmart advertises that they carry a shoe, it is not actually available since it a seasonal shoe and may never be available again. (per Walmart rep)

I wore them right away around the house to get use to the feeling of a heel effect, and it felt comfortable to me. I don't like wearing heels, but this isn't too high for me. I plan to wear them to an event that is all day and requires dancing. I will be sure to follow up. I bought a size up from my typical size of 7. And definitely happy that I did based on the reviews indicating so. It didn't feel too big at all despite the one size up. My friends love the look!!!!

I bought these for a production of "Music Man" (in which I have to dance quite a bit), and they are surprisingly pretty comfortable. I haven't had any blisters or rubbing (I do wear tights and socks in them). There is no support, but that wasn't a surprise. Others have had trouble with the snaps, but if you align them properly, it's really pretty easy. 4 stars for no support and they are very wide on my narrow feet.

These shoes are advertised as "running small". The buyer is advised to buy them a size up. The problem arises because the shoes come in whole sizes only. I wear an 8 1/2. That meant I had to size up to a 10. Buying the 10 means that the shoes were wide enough for my feet--but at least two inches too long.They close with snaps. But only if you have VERY thin legs. I don't, so the the last three snaps don 't come within inches of closing. I am debating taking them to my shoemaker and having a gusset put in the back seam--or just returning them.

Purchased these for our daughter, who was performing as Wednesday Adams, in the musical play. They were adorable. The only issue was they snap instead of zip. She really needed to wear thick socks and the shoe wouldn't stay snapped up with any thickness. Her feet were very sore not being able to have socks on. If you don't wear socks with boots, or use thin ones....you'll be fine.

The soft leather fabric of the boot is very stylish. The snap closure of the boot is better than a zipper on the back heel. Great boot for the price. I got a 10 even though I wear a nine so I could wear socks with them.

I have been hunting for the last eight months for a pair of wedding shoes that I felt were "me". I had not found a single pair that were what I wanted...Then I found these ones online and I was in love.A quick run-through of the other reviews and I ordered a size 11 (I'm a 10 wide). I was a little concerned that I would need to stretch them out because I have a wide foot.They fit perfectly! There is even room enough for my toes to wiggle. I can point my toes and flex my foot and the snaps remain firmly locked.As one reviewer said, they do look a little bit like doll shoes.
