LoStik by Ronoth - LoRa/LoRaWAN US 915mhz / Uses RN2903

This adapter does its job—it's a fully functional LoRa USB adapter with good range and no operational problems. With that said, if you don't already know what you're doing with LoRa equipment, it's going to take some head-scratching before you figure it out.The provided scripts absolutely did work to pair my two LoStik adapters, but there's no actual usage documentation, and the error messages are basically untrapped exceptions that aren't helpful either. Here's the trick: the adapters show up as /dev/tty0, /dev/tty1, etc (assuming Linux use), and you need to be root to run the scripts.So on one laptop you'll do sudo ./send.py /dev/tty0 and on the other you'll do sudo ./receive.py /dev/tty0, and you're off to the races. Don't skip the sudo part though. There is no actual "pairing" or anything; the demo scripts just broadcast out to anybody listening and listen for anybody broadcasting, in about 500-1,000 yards or so range (including fairly heavy obstructions, like hills in the way, transmitting or receiving from the inside of an iron silo, etc).Of course if you have an actual LoRa enabled application and know what you're doing, none of this matters. Your application just needs to know how to speak LoRa and let you point it to a serial device, and you're off to the races. =)

I don't know if it's just the item I received or its design in general, but whenever I plug this into my Macbook Pro it immediately crashes the whole computer. The computer will try to restart, but as long as this thing is plugged in, it will crash again. I'm going to return this and try another one to see if I just got a bad item.

Receive the item in good condition and working. The delivery is also fast.
