Rockford PP2976DLXA Portable Power Source - Mini Jump Starter

Buyer beware no question product works as advertised and my wife currently owns one and works great, it has started her car multiple times. it also started my Father's car and he thought it was cool so we bought him one as gift but unfortunately it doesn't charge since he waited 6 months to charge it for a road trip he discovered it doesn't charge correctly. the battery has a year warranty but JBTool Sales the amazon vendor says contact Rockford directly but Rockford isn't very easy to contact at this point I don't what will happen and JB Tool Sales hasn't been helpful to provided any information on how to contact the Rockford. if you do decide to buy make sure to charge within 30 days so it can be returned.

I was skeptical. Never had anything with a battery that amazed me over time. Had a big yellow Menards special jump box that on its best day couldn't jump a car, despite being the size of a shinebox and twice as heavy.This sat under the front seat (which the case is perfect for) for 6 months since, as Murphy's law would have it, nothing needed a jump after buying this. When the day came, it was 20 degrees (like it always is when your battery dies). This thing was fully charged (5/5 dots) and ready for action. That alone amazed me.I was even more amazed that after plugging it in, by the time I got back to the drivers seat, the car lights were on. First crank didn't work, waited maybe 20 seconds, tried again. Car started right up.Even more amazing, the thing still had 3 dots out of 5. Kept it in the car for the short trip, having no doubt it could have worked a second time if needed. After getting back home, the thing charged fully in under an hour from 3/5 charge.This is a fantastic little gadget and would make a perfect gift, especially for a kid going away to school or for someone who travels a lot.

This portable power jumper is small but effective. While I am not a mechanic I keep this charged and in my care at all times. When traveling I can use it to charge additional devices. This size of this alone is worth every penny as it does not take up much space and can easily fit into my glove box. When need to get a jump or mostly assisting other who need it, this product has not let me down. I will have one in every care and in our family we have 6 cars and drivers. The current price of $99 is a great deal.

It does the job, no more worrying about finding someone to give you a jump start, or that idiot who thinks he'll blow up his car if he gives you a jump. Bonus, it has adapters to charge pretty much anything you own. The battery should stay charged longer than it does, put a reminder up to charge it every few months. Go through the steps to jump start your car at least once before you actually need it, not hard to use but not intuitive.

Wife's van battery was completely dead, not even a click or two and this thing started it on the first turn of the key! Talk about power! Not to mention versatility! Great little kit comes with it. This particular brand is the best of them all.

Everyone should keep one of these in their vehicle and/or emergency safety kits! Super easy to use and you don't need to rely on someone else to jump your car if your battery happens to die. It also has all sorts of attachments for charging various other electronics. It could be used for camping or backpacking trips where you're away from a power source. This would even work during a power outage. Wonderful product!

First time I went to use the booster it did not work. I had the purchased it 6 months earlier so it was well with in the 1 year warranty offered by the manufacturer. After contacting the manufacturer (Rockford) they said I would need to return it trough the retailer that I had purchased it through\, which was JB Tools. I promptly contacted JB Tools and after a series of back in fourths with their customer services (who were very nice) i was told it was outside their return window and there was nothing they could do.Not impressed with Rockford, their product or JB Tools...... I would have been better off burning the 100 bucks I spent on this thing that way at least I would have got a little heat off it.

I work at a used car dealership. My employee brought one of these in to use on our vehicles with dead batteries. I laughed when I first saw it and did not believe it would work nor hold up to multiple uses. Was I ever wrong! Time after time over the last year this device has saved a lot of time by simply hooking up and quickly jumping off all types and sizes of vehicles. I recently bought 3 of these and put one in my wife's vehicle and gave one to each of my adult children. You will never have to keep jumper cables in your trunk or look for someone to jump you off again!!!
