Happy so far
Went for this one after checking many other product pictures since the rest showed hexagonal while this one has a Torx shape for tightening which means it has a bigger hole and a lower pressure loss. Fits nicely between a Bristan tap and the shower hose and even tightening by hand was enough once the shower hose was in. Construction is solid, chromed surface is also good and thick so I'm confident it will last longer than many other parts.

Simple adapter to fit shower hose to a tap!
This little adapter allows the connection of a shower hose (not included) to an appropriate tap (in my case, a bath mixer tap),without any leaks or unsightly and old-fashioned rubber pushover connectors. It's allowed me to use a shower in the bath at minimal cost, which I am thrilled about, although the dog isn't so pleased about!

Just what I needed- Mixer tap to shower adapter
Exactly what I was after, fits to my mixer tap in the bath and allowed me to connect a shower hose to it temporarily.

Not 24mm
What has been sent is definitely not 24mm, 1 inch is 25.4 mm and I needed one just slightly smaller. This is way to small. What a waste of money.

If your not a plumber. Get clued up on thread sizes.
I had a problem with this. Although I'm from an engineering background, the amount of different thread size conventions and terms involved in plumbing can be very confusing. To add to this, this is an adapter and the diagrams themselves specifying the threads used had to be in different formats. Ultimately I bought the wrong adapter, the supplier is not to blame. I ended up buying a tap and die set and fashioned my own adapter. It would have been possible to hire a plumber for around the same price as the tap and die set. But I am equipped for the future now. This was my choice.
