We ordered these to cut pieces out on our CO2 laser. All pieces were cut exact to size. The colors were vibrant and can be used on a variety of projects making them extremely functional. With the right speed and power, these cut very well! All sheets were free of imperfections and nicely glossed and masked.

These acrylic sheets have been fantastic when it comes to laser engraving. I have been making earrings with them, and they do a great job. The color variety is great when deciding what color earrings I want to make.

My application for this material was as a cabinet faceplate for an electronics project. I have found a lot of information online about using a diode laser to cut acrylic plastic, much of it contradictory. I used a Sculpfun S9 laser cutter/engraver with 455nm (visible), 5.5W diode laser and Lightburn software. I conducted a series of tests using this opaque, 118" XLNT assortment to determine which colors were suitable for laser cutting. I found that the Black, Yellow and Dark (Kelly) Green were most easily and quickly cut (50% power. 60mm/min, 4 passes). The Vermillion, Red and Light Green colors could be cut with a little more power (79% power, 60mm/min, 4 passes). As can be seen in the photo, there is a little dimpling around the openings, but this might be reduced by further optimization. However, I was unable to cut the Orange, Light Blue or Dark Blue acrylic sheets. It looked to me as if for those colors, the dye in the plastic turned white when hit with the laser.

I bought this acrylic to use with my 60w laser cutting machine and it works very well. Cut out perfectly, acrylic colors are vibrant, can't wait to use it on future projects.

great product to use

Bought these to cut/engrave with a 10W diode laser. 1/2 of the sheets colors cannot be used with diode lasers. Granted I am an amateur with laser engraving and learned a lot from buying this bundle of sheets, it would have been nice to see somewhere clearly that Dark Blue, Orange, White and Sky Blue do not play well with diode lasers. The other sheet colors worked out well. Why not give option to pick bundle that has color that only play nice with diode laser.
