Good quality. Excellent price. Hard to find in shops
Excellent quality dark rye flour. I am planning to make my own bread and I needed dark rye flour and I couldn’t find one anywhere in the shop, and I came across one here, at a very good price.I would definitely buy it again, as the quality and texture of the flour is very good. My dark rye bread turned out to be very tasty.I would recommend this product to anyone

Great taste and tetxture
I use this in combination with other types of flour, although I also add glutent to avoid it becoming too dry.

Best Value and Quality
Makes wonderfully nutty-flavoured bread (Breadmaker machine) - either 100% dark rye or mixed with other flours and seeds/grains for a lighter texture and variable flavours. Experiment!

GREAT VALUE
Matthews Cotswold Stoneground Dark Rye FlourBread baked with this 100% extraction flour (loaves & rolls) has a good crumb structure, moist but without any stickiness left on the bread knife, and a beautiful flavour (which I enhance with the addition of caraway seed). Highly recommended.

Good
I bought this as my tesco stopped selling it and I use it weekly for my sourdough. I noticed the reviews that mentioned lower weight than on packet so checked mine - sadly, my delivery also had some bags as lower in weight than they should have been, which is really terrible quality control, hence the 3 stars. I think I'll just get Waitrose one instead next. disappointed as I have used this product for the last 1.5 years and use a lot of it.
