Easy effort and fantastic results

I highly recommend using this product. I went on a cleaning spree....my oven racks.......were disgusting. Between the baked on goo and accidentally cleaning the oven with the racks in the oven.....they needed a good cleaning. Very easy to use....the box includes the bag (I did the 2 racks together) which fits 2 oven racks, the cleaner and gloves. It says to allow the racks to sit with the product for 8 hours.....I did over night.....no scrubbing needed! I did keep flipping the bag here and there to get the cleaner over the different parts of the racks. I would recommend and buy again....possibly for the grill.......

This is a lifesaver for me. We broil often and our oven racks get very dirty. I have used this three times so far and it works every time. The only negative for me is that it's very difficult to coat more than one rack. When I tried to clean two racks together, only one got adequately coated, no matter how much I turned and shook the bag. We only use one rack in the oven anyway, but it was frustrating to not be able to clean both of them at the same time (saving time and money).It really works well and makes a difficult chore easy to do. I like that it's safe for septic systems, too. I use my own disposable gloves rather than the clumsy ones that come in the package, which I would not feel safe using. Overall, a great product, but a little pricey for something that only properly cleans one rack at a time.

Cleaned all 3 of my racks at once. I chose to coat all the racks in the sealed bag and I rubbed the bag to get them coated then flipped the bag over every 4 hours and then left overnight. I then removed racks one at a time and used hot running water and a sponge with Dawn dish soap and BAM! Came out sparkling clean and no residue left. I did have a black spot here or there but a dish scrubber ( stainless steal coil thingy) took off no scrubbing. Rinsed and dried racks placed in oven and no smell when I used oven . This product is the best I've ever used! Highly recommend and I'm buying more to have on hand for a cleaning every 6 months. I know these reviews said not enough liquid but with common sense and flipping the bag it works just fine. Much better than spraying then scrubbing then washing then rinsing again and I always got an order from cleaner so had to burn off before using my oven. Save yourself buy this product!

I was skeptical because I have tried many grill cleaning products most of which help but don't usually do a really top notch job. Much to my surprise this stuff really worked. I put three standard sized grill grates in the bag and left is overnight. Next day I took them out and just hosed them off with a strong water stream and an amazing amount of grime just floated off. Then I used grill brush and hosed again and they really looked not new, but awfully darn good.Admittedly these were from a newer grill and not the kind of baked in grime one can get from years of grill use. But I have had the grill for five months and do use it a lot. There was plenty of grime I couldn't get off with a grill brush.Suffice it to say for like $8 this product is worth the money and modest effort it takes to use it.

I was pretty excited to try this out after having read a lot of reviews on grill cleaning products. When the product arrived I was a bit alarmed to see that they very boldly say on the box that this is only recommended for "newer" grill grates that are less than one year old. This is pretty disappointing. How many people feel they need to go and purchase an expensive grill cleaning kit for their grates after just a year of use? The typical person will be buying this to keep grates that are a few years old and now need some extra attention.In any event I followed the directions and loaded the kit up with the grates (stainless steel) from my huge Weber Summit grill as well as some of the dirtier flavorizer bars (the bars that go over the burners).I rotated everything around so all of it got washed throughout the day in the solution.While the bag is pretty tough, the grates still managed to poke holes in a couple of spots which left me with a bit of a mess to clean up when it was time to remove the grates. The cleaning material is not toxic so there is no reason you can't do this part over your lawn, etc.When I removed the grates some areas were pretty clean and I was a bit wowed. Other areas were still quite dirty and even after heavy scrubbing with a wire brush I could not get them completely clean.The flavorizer bars were pretty much wasted with this kit as it did nearly nothing for them.All in all I don't feel that this did a much better job than I could have gotten by putting the grates in a trash bag and throwing a gallon or two of a citrus based degreaser in for several hours. The biggest beef I have is that there is not nearly enough solution provided in this very expensive kit to clean the grates on a larger sized grill like my Summit.
