Boys find them comfortable and neck coverage is good
10 year old and 9 year old hockey players both preferred the fit and comfort of the winnwell neck guard to the ccm neck guard.

too bulky
The neck guard is very large. I fully appreciate the need for protection, but neither son could wear it (ages 15 & 17) because it was uncomfortable.
