A very plaisant surprise!
Ok first of all, I am going to start with the things I don't like because there aren't many.- Sound Quality: it's not bad, but its not good either. Its comparable to mid-tiers ultra-books. The sound quality is clear enough to watch movies, but its not optimal for music. So plug in your headphones or Bluetooth speakers.-track-pad: it's not the best I've used. The tracking can be imprecise and some clicks are not captured by the system, but very usable in day to day computingOkey, now that those points are cleared, let's jump into why this laptop is must have!I am a big gamer and I have a gaming laptop, but I needed a light and cheap laptop for university / work and that's why I choose to buy a Chromebook. When I stumbled across this product, I was a little skeptical because I never heard about Poin2, but a took the leap of faith and ordered and boy how surprised I was.++ the main point that I like about this laptop is the battery life. This thing holds for 2 working days without a charge!! I use moderately (browsing, spreadsheets, Netflix and taking notes in class) with brightness around 60% and it held charge for 12 hours+Build quality: this laptop feels very premium. Aluminium everywhere, no flex to the chassis, no screen wobble, with very a subtle and elegant design that feels professional..+screen: the screen is bright (even in outside environment) , full HD, with a precise and responsive touch capabilities. Color accuracy is not the best if you are a graphic designer (Chromebooks are not meant for heavy photo editing anyways), perfect for media consumption and productivity+performance: The Mediatek processor was a turnoff at first, but in real life usage, it's very smooth, capable of a high level of multi-tasking and will suit perfectly light daily usage (note that for some reason, some games on the store require an Intel processor, but from the +20 games I tried, only 2 required that)I took this as a secondary laptop, but became my main one as it does everything I need besides heavy gaming that I leave to my gaming laptop. I would recommend this even if it was at $350 or $400, so at $250, it's a no-brainer.note that if you think 32go are not enough, Google has got you covered and offers 100go free drive storage for every Chromebook purchase.

Great bang for the buck
Got at a great price, good touchscreen and premium feel with metal chassis. Not the lightest, but because the metal chassis feels more premium it's not unexpected. Will work fine for my Mom, and she's enjoying the ability to use apps from the Play store on the larger 14" screen vs her normal tablet. Battery seems fine so far, not sure with brightness up that it will hit 9+ hours, but I'm sure it's better than my current laptop.

Well worth the money
Chromebooks make emails,e-shopping, browsing and movie streaming a breeze and the Poin2 fits the bill perfectly.Yes you can pay over $1000 for a chromebook, but as a carry-around-the coffee shops laptop this does the job admirably. I spend a few weeks researching for a value-for-money chromebook and although i'd never heard of the brand before. it had been given a good review on Chromebook Unboxed. It's a sturdy well made 14" laptop with a nice gun-metal grey finish.Quick to set up and easy to use, you'd be hard pressed to find similar for under $200.Plenty of apps available, great battery life and although the laptop doesn't have much storage internally, you do have access to Google's 100Gb for free! I use Spotify for music and sound quality is quite passable.Just a couple of downsides (for me) but not a deal breaker - Keyboard is not backlit. Nor is it the best screenon the market, but it's quite acceptable.Highly Recommended :)

Best bang for your buck
I only recently got into chromebooks because, I love the idea of having something has hefty as a laptop that only does what I need without the full laptop price. First things first, this isn't a replacement for a latop, especially if you do a lot photo and video editing. There are apps that would allow you to do so but, if you are using apps like indesign or photoshop, you will be better off getting a laptop with better specs. If all you need to do is internet browsing, youtube and emailing, then chromebooks are the way to go. You don't need to shell out more money for a laptop that you wont fully be utilized. Most chromebooks in this price range are usually plastic and dont feel very sturdy. The Poin2 feels more premium than any other chromebook I have felt in that price range. As for performance, I have not felt any lag or anything that hindered my experience. I am sure if you open a bunch of apps and streaming services, you will eventually bog down the device.Overall, this is a great chromebook for anyone that needs the basics done. You don't need to spend hundreds if not over a thousand dollars on a device if all you are doing is internet browsing.

The display leaves a lot to be desired.
As far as the look feel battery life Etc goes, this is a pretty great deal. That said, the quality of the display is so bad that I mostly regret buying it. I would say that it's below the quality of a first-generation iPad of 8 + years ago. When I'm doing Gmail, the letters look so pixelated and blurry that I feel like my eyes are going bad. Surprisingly, I feel like the viewing is improved when you watch movies. It's not awesome but it's acceptable. We're doing email the resolution is below an acceptable level for my eyes. Perhaps I've gotten too used to my pixel 2 and other Apple products with awesome displays? I don't knowperiod function wise it's pretty awesome, that said I couldn't get HBO now to cast to my Chrome and I couldn't get PS Vue to cast either. Those functions work fine from my phone

Exceptional for the price
This Product right out of the box is very impressive. It's almost %95 alumimum chassis and feels quite well built. It is kinda heavishesh because of it. The key board is good, not great - but it ended up costing me 70 dollars after my rewards points so I ain't complaining. The screen is very good - turn the brightness to max. The touchscreen is responsive. The actual experience is good - again 70 bucks. Overall I would definitely recommend for the price point
