National Santa Fe Border Print Dress

This is a great dress for me (5'4.5" 212 lbs). Definitely light weight and roomy. Will work well in hot weather. Comes about 2-3 inches below knee. Wish it was mid calf, but it is sufficiently long. Sleeves are good length--above elbow and slightly flared. Accent print is very pretty. Washes very well so far (have washed it once). Did not shrink excessively and colors stayed true. Can wear this inside and outside house. Good for errands in hot weather. Just bought it in teal too. Wish it were a darker teal, but the light teal will work.

The color is beautiful and the dress fit perfectly. I was so excited because we had a Fiesta party coming up the very next day. But I made the mistake of not examining it more closely before I laundered it. I washed it in cold water and dried it on low, but it still needed a bit of a touch-up with the iron. As soon as I put it on the ironing board, I discovered that a piece of black cord had been woven into the material on about half way up the front (close to where the pocket is) -- a very visible spot. I found something else for the party and contacted the seller explaining what the problem was and asking if I could at least get a reduced price. I even sent a picture of the flaw to them showing the black cord --I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A REPLY.So I finally decided I would try to remove the thread and use the dress around the house. As you can see in the picture, the result was just as I had expected: a hole was left where the cord had been woven in the material. I managed to patch the hole, but it still shows. Now I have a rather expensive housedress. If they had had the courtesy to at least answer my complaint, I wouldn't be so upset with them, but their lack of any response at all left me very disappointed. The dress would have been perfect and I would have loved it, but their poor customer service negated that. If it had not been black or in a less obvious spot (although black is pretty obvious any place on a bright orange dress), or if they had even had the courtesy to reply to me, I wouldn't have been so disappointed with my purchase.

I usually wear size 12, ordered this in Medium, which fits fine across the shoulders. Gathered from the yoke, the fit is loose, unrestricting and ultimately comfortable on hot days. The fabric is a fine India cotton, feels like a breeze against my skin when I move. I wasn't sure I'd like the contrasting color, but I do like it and it works well with gold color jewelry. Inseam pockets are a real plus. I wear a half slip to prevent leggy see-through and have had lots of compliments when I wear this dress out of the house. Pair it with a wide-brimmed hat and sandals and you are fit for a day out and about.

The Santa Fe Border Print Dress was perfect! To tell you the truth, I use this as a nightgown which I can wear without changing to fetch the morning paper and mail and then my morning tea and biscuits without having to change or place a robe over. May also use as a beach cover up for the Jersey Shore. It's roomy and the material is very comfortable and dries quickly.

This dress is perfect as a light, cool summer dress. The color is brighter than the picture. It shrank after the first wash, but that's expected as it's cotton. The colors and pattern are festive!

Bought about 5 of them in different colors. My 83 yr. old mother doesn't go out anymore loves them.

After surgery I needed something to wear that wouldn't hug my middle. This certainly does not hug! It runs a bit big but if that's what you're after, it's a good, warm weather choice. The fabric is good and it doesn't look dowdy or frumpy.

I got this in large and thought I would need a 2x but this dress for cotton really runs big. I thought it look more of a knit, but over all this is very comfrotable dress and love it
