There are two versions of this product and some confusion over what is 'real' and which are 'fake'. The difference is where they are made. I have received both from Amazon. The Radical pads I purchase at Barneys New York are always made in France.The comparison (both of these were received from an Amazon order):The container on the left is made in France. These are white in color, a bit thinner, more difficult to peel apart, and the waffle is less noticeable.The container on the right is made in USA. These are off-white in color, thicker, easier to peel apart than the French version though you will still sometimes get two, and the waffle is more pronounced.Scent: the same for both, very faintPersonally, I prefer the pads made in the USA. The recipe may be the same for each country but it is the pad thickness and waffle of the US version that feels more substantial, doesn't roll up when using, and appears to have a stronger result for my complexion.

These pads are so thin, I cannot even swipe them across my face - they just roll up. I have used this product before, purchased from an online beauty "S"tore, and the pads were thick and fully saturated. These are thin - not sure that this product is the real thing. Very disappointed. The real pads are amazing.

The pads are pretty thin but large enough to be cut into two sections so that you can make the product last longer (and lets be honest at this price we have to make it stretch as far as we can). There’s a bit of a chemical smell but it isn’t bad and I prefer it over something artificially fragranced. I don’t see an overwhelming difference in my face, which I feel like I should - if anything I think my skin is actually drying out from using it. Personally, I don’t think I will purchase this product again because it just doesn’t seem to do a ton.

I like these Radical skincare pads! They look and feel like the acne pads most of us used as teens. The waffle weave isn't very raised so I can't really feel them. I wash my face morning/night. It's been about 6 hours since I washed it and I wanted to test this on my face just to see what I feels like before I add it to my skincare routine. I was SHOCKED at how clean these made my face. The amount of dirt on the pad when I finished was appalling. The pads don't sting, they feel smooth and my skin felt smooth after using. I felt like I needed to moisturize after using them but you're supposed to do it in that order anyways when you add this to your routine.

Love these exfoliating pads. They are strong and I would not recommend to someone with sensitive skin. This has removed some little spots on my face from hormonal issues. I have hormonal cystic acne along my jawline and I find scrubbing them with this speeds up the healing process and certainly helps to get rid of the darkness left when these heal. I bought these pads when I had my last blemish and so far I have not had another one and I am almost at the bottom of the jar. These will always be in my skincare arsenal.

I bought the mini-set of Radical Skincare from another company and loved it SO much, I went back to buy it piece-at-a-time. This company was out of the exfoliation pads, so I ordered them from Amazon instead. I will buying the rest of the products from Amazon as well. I love all the products, but the exfoliation pads (after cleansing, before serum/moisturizer) shrink my pores and clear my skin unbelievably! I've had 2 small bumps (forehead and nose) that have actually started diminishing. My skin feels so clean and refreshed and actually tightened.

I bought this product at a beauty store (rhymes with 'plethora') and they were amazing. These are not that product. My skin was completely clear with the other product, I'm still breaking out with this one. Especially upsetting since these were not any cheaper. I should have just gotten them from a department store.

I noticed a difference when NOT using this product, my skin no matter how well i took care of it always needed that extra bit of acid to slough off the days wear. I split each one into two parts to save money as its a pretty costly item. Works great! I noticed a difference in the quality and radiance of my skin right away. Won't live without it now.
