Bucco Sonata Womens Fashion Overlay Combat Boots

I usually wear size 9 to 10 . These boots only went up to a size 9 so I took a chance and bought it. It fits just so. I can't wear it with socks so I wear it with nylons. It's cute. I've worn it twice since I got it last week. I have received a compliment on it. I know it's cool to be ecologically conscious but I do wish they were made of leather so that they would last longer. Over all, it is a good value for the money. The laces were black instead of brown but that's okay. I actually prefer it that way. I can always change to a different color if needed. I didn't see any problems with the boots, no clumps of glue or holes or hanging threads. The only thing I would complain about it is that the flap that goes around the boot is very thin. They could have made it thicker. By the way, I took these pictures after I had worn them so they don't look nice and clean.

These were delivered last night and were so comfortable when I tried them on. I was hesitant to purchase them and kept moving them in and out of my cart for a few days. So glad I finally did. I wanted a cute pair of flat brown combat style boots to wear with leggings for when I wanted to ditch the wedges to dress comfy for work. It seems like every Amazon seller that sells inexpensive women shoes all have the same exact cheap pair of combat boots that zip up the side and look shiny and like plastic. I bought them last year and they were so uncomfortable.They seem to be a decent quality and well made for an inexpensive pair of boots. No stray threads of glue showing anywhere. They look better in person than on screen. The overlay piece is removal. It's buckled on. I think they look better with the piece attached though.

I purchased the tan boots. These were nice in theory but I had returned them. I purchased them with the understanding that it is not real leather. I have a lot of fake leather clothing/shoes and am not ashamed of it. However, these boots looked a little TOO fake. There was something about the finishing that looked like it was painted on. Mind you, if it was something that looked alright from far, I would have kept it. But from afar, it still looked too obvious. Part of the reason might have been because of the flat panel that covered the shoelaces, since it is a wide area with no distractions, it makes the poor finishing very noticeable. I really wish I took a picture to show you what I mean.I'm giving it some stars however, because the fit was great and as expected, and the design is actually pretty neat. I imagine that the black version would look nice (I already have too many black boots so I reluctantly didn't exchange the color).

Love the versatility of these boots! You get two style's in one show. I wore them all over the UK and they seemed very durable. I have noticed however, that since the trip, the heel support piece is starting to press on my heel though...Overall this is a pretty good boot for the price. *The other thing I noticed was that the laces are not the same color as the picture, I received black laces and would have preferred the yellow as pictured.

As many reviews say the laces are black. They are not leather, thinking they are more close to the leather like material that they use to make a certain type of rain boot. It is a cheap boot but, it works for what it costs.

The laces are different than what is shown in the photo (they are black). This boot looks/feels more cheaply made than others I have purchased from this company. They are also very noisy/squeaky when I walk.

The shoe strings on the black pair were not the same as shown in the picture. They were black... which isn't terrible but I liked the brown accents and that's why I got them.

Great boot. Comfortable shoe. The overlay strap is removable, so you can switch up your look. It's like having 2 different pairs of boots.
