Fat Man Happy
As a gum-drop-shaped obese dude I have no expectation of anything fitting me perfectly. What I want is something that fits me comfortably, and that means big enough everywhere and where there is a less than ideal fit, it's bigger than necessary. The company - in this case Boulder Creek, purchased through KingSize - should probably post their base-line measurements in an easy to find place, but I found the measurements in a Q and A on one of their other jackets and measured myself with a tailor's tape. I found the common note that they run big and roomy to be true in my case as well, and with that I am pleased. Given how hard it is to find clothes that I can fit into, it's nice for "too much" space to be a 'problem'. I'll deal with it and be happy, thank you.Note that in the product description that this jacket is made with an additional 2 inches of length on both Big and Tall jackets in comparison to the company's other coats. It's one of the reasons I chose this jacket, and probably has something to do with the surprising size for some reviewers. My Big - 8XL hangs (thankfully) well past my belly so I don't have to feel like Baby Huey.

Great coat, great price
My husband was pleasantly surprised by this coat! For the price it was much more than we expected! He can be outside in below freezing temps and not feel the least bit cold!

Buyer beware
Sadly, this was a little too small - however, my ability to return the product fell outside of their policy and they rejected the return. I tried to contact them directly but to no avail. the jacket would be fine if it fit well it was just a bit short in the arms and torso. Now I am stuck with a jacket I cannot wear comfortably. I will just recommend that if you try it on at length before returning or exchanging - they run small - odd for a Big and Tall product. I read their policy to see if I has any recourse and I do not. 3 stars for the jacket 1 star for the inflexible service. As for the jacket... I am donating it to Goodwill and writing it off on my taxes.

Great coat for the price
The coat is very nice and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. The coat is larger than expected so if you order an extra large expect it to be a little bigger, which is better because I have found, in temps lower than 30 you will need something over it or under it like a hoodie. The neck seems to be a little tight when you put the hood up. You will be a lot warmer if you put the hood up while you're out. I gave it 4 stars just because it sounds like you're wearing a potato chip bag when its cold out. Also it could have really used a removable liner. All in all, the coat seems to be worth the money.

Good value
Typically when I order a jacket, I always order one size larger than my shirt size. I found that to be ideal with this jacket. The jacket gives me plenty of space around the shoulders and stomach. I have enough space to wear a sweater underneath and zip up the jacket comfortably. The jacket doesn't look like it is too big or bulky. The jacket also has a pull strap in the middle to tighten it around the middle if needed.Sleeve length I find is perfect. I have a wingspan of about 6 foot 3. The end of the sleeve hits right at my wrist just below the thumb. The adjustments on the sleeves work great and the sleeves never move up my arm.I order the tall version and like the length of the coat. I stand about 6 foot 1 and the jacket comes down about halfway down my backside. When I put my hands at my side, the tips of my fingers hit the bottom of the jacket. The jacket is fairly warm. I live in a fairly cold climate and I feel comfortable using this as my full time winter jacket. If you intended to spend hours outdoors, you may want to wear a sweater. For going out to your car, going shopping etc this jacket is fine. The quality isn't top notch but for the price it is pretty decent. I have found some stray threads coming from the jacket. Ripping the jacket seems like it would be moderately difficult to do. The outer material was soft and almost suede like. I was expecting a more abrasive fabric. Not sure how well it would do with water. It seems like water would soak through. The inner fleece is nice and comfortable.I would recommend this jacket to anybody. The fit and comfort is really nice. The quality for the price is good but don't expect the type of quality of a more expensive jacket. I expect it to last a few winters under normal use. If you work outdoors and need a jacket, I would not recommend this jacket. If you need something to keep you warm when you go outside for daily life, this would be perfect.

Its warm, sturdy and darn comfortable.
I am really impressed by the comfort and warmth of this coat. I purchased because the price was too attractive to pass up. I read a good deal of the reviews so I was expecting something to get ime through one winter. I am very happy that this jacket, although flimsy to the touch and underwhelming to the eye... is strong, warm and very comfortable. It will probably wear well for a good long while. I do however wish it had more pockets, but you gotta give something guess.

Zipper
I cannot figure why there are 2 zippers. No matter how I try, I cannot zip it up. If I try to zip with the 2 zippers at the bottom, it invariably splits at the bottom, causing the zipper to come apart. I have tried to pull one zipper to the top and to zip with one zipper. That causes the zipper to come apart at the bottom because the zipper does not close at the end of it. If I had realized this, I would have returned the jacket. I can only snap it closed and if it becomes really cold and windy the jacket will be useless. Why did you put 2 zippers on it?? Otherwise the jacktet is very warm and snugly. Sandy Bear
