Grace of Monaco: Princess in Dior

Bought as a surprise gift for my wife which she was delighted with, this absolutely fabulous book is worthy of both designer and lady.The sumptuous gowns could never have been worn by a more elegant woman.A Prince amongst designers and a Princess amongst ladies!Highly recommended.

This is a beautifully produced and executed book. The pale pink cover -similar in texture to gros-grain-with accompanying picture of Princess Grace-is magnificent and very tastefully done allowing-if you wish-to display the book in "coffee table" manner. The photographs of Princes Grace's Dior gowns are spectacular with each one showing the gown and an accompanying picture of Grace wearing it which simply adds to the delight and enjoyment of the book. It has obviously been produced with a lot of love and care not only in the choice of photographs of Princess Grace-many I have never seen before-but also a fitting and truly worthy tribute to Dior himself and the Exhibition in Granville. This book truly is entirely worthy of display and I shall be proudly displaying it on my own coffee table for friends and family to enjoy too!

Wonderfully clear and detailed photos. So many other books about Princess Grace’s clothing take ‘artsy ‘ photos so the details are lost, but this book is perfect. Plus it is full of information about Dior, and about the couture collections Princess Grace owned.

This is SUCH a pretty book. Would look amazing as a coffee table book

I was given this book as a gift for christmas and was most disapointed.The colour plates are very poor - ill lit they have no shape and give no idea of colour. I have many fashion feature books and this is by far the poorest example. It does not give the subject nor the clothes justice. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Excellent High Quality Book.

I ordered this because of the bright and lovely pink cover that was depicted on Amazon. The cover is actually very light and the tint is more beige than pink. It comes with a sticker on the back of the linen cover that left a sticky residue after removal--ideally, the sticker would have been applied to the shrink wrap as opposed to the book itself. The seller shipped the book very quickly and the book arrived in great condition.
