nice colander !
I like this colander. It’s not super heavy duty, but it’s not flimsy either. 9.5 inches diameter is bigger than I expected. I got it to replace a smaller one that I melted (…don’t ask), that was probably closer to 6 - 7 inches. I’ll keep looking but keeping this one anyway. And I like the aqua color. I also like the placement of the good sized holes…They’re not just on the bottom but come up the sides a little bit - but not too high. You could strain spaghetti if you don’t mind a couple noodles slipping through a bit.

Very cute! Does its job
I bought this for my new place. It fits the theme of the kitchen (color-wise), it was a decent value, it is not cheaply made! And it definitely does its job. It fits an out of pasta, drains well, easy to toss in the dishwasher and clean so no complaints here.

Love this colander, but the holes are too big for some pastas
Really love this colander, so much that I decided to find room to keep it in my limited space. I did have to purchase a second colander for some pastas, like vermicelli, thin spaghettie and Kraft mac & cheeese. The holes in this one are too big for some things. But this one cleans up easier than any other I've ever had. The handle makes it so easy to use too.

Works well
I wish the holes were slightly larger. We use this mostly to sift out small popcorn pieces and kernels from bagged or freshly popped popcorn. It gets a lot of them but I am thinking of using something to make the holes a little bigger.

Sturdy and even-sized holes throughout
I have a consumer-level pellet ice machine and freeze small batches in silicon bags. It has to be re-frozen and broken up, resulting in a lot of ice crystals that end up clumping at the bottom of the container. Because this colander has a lot of even sized holes that are just slightly smaller than pellet ice, I can put the ice in the colander and shake it, allowing all of the ice crystals to fall through. This results in "perfect pellet ice".We have other similar colanders, but none quite like this one.

Holes are too big
I really wanted to like this strainer but, the holes are way too big for macaroni. That being said, it is very sturdy and holds quite a bit.
