delicious and worked great for endurance sports
I ate this stuff as a change of pace fuel during a 50-mile run through the Bob Marshall Wilderness. I was going to be eating a bunch of energy gels and bars and I wanted something that tasted like real food. This was perfect. It has about as many calories as a gel, but tastes like real food because that's what it is. And because of the moisture content, I didn't need to swallow extra water to get it down. Also the pouch allowed it to conform to a comfortable shape in my hydration pack with all my other gear. It's basically an adult version of baby food pouches. But for specialized needs like mine, it's perfect. The only thing I would change is that I wish the packaging was made of compostable materials. That would be PERFECT. These will become part of my equipment for any ultra where I have to carry my own fuel.
