Travel Guide
I was looking for a book that would give me some insight on places I travel to and how to find good places to have fun while I am abroad. Well, this book doesn't disappoint. It discusses various places you can go and find what you're looking for. For some places, it may give street names or actual locations, but for others, it's just general information. Read this book with an open mind and with your passport ready.

Great book. As a world traveler I can relate, & this is not fiction.

Google the subject...way better
I didn't have the option to give it zero stars unfortunately....This book is an insult to the writing profession; it is poorly written, childlike not to say banal in its writing style, ( e.g.the authors ridiculous attempts at philosophical and ethical reflections) , far less informative or up to date than wikisexguide.com or worldsexguide or internationalseguide.com etc. , and woefully lacking in its comprehensiveness and balance...nothing for e.g. on Europe, Russia, Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela etc etc . In short a waste of time, money, and perhaps worst of all, an insult to ones intelligence. You have been warned.

How to Pay to Get Laid
All I can say is WOW! I never realized sex for sale was so widespread and basically a commodity that is a huge chunk of the world's business and also one of the most hush-hush ones in retrospect. How "businesses" offer it discreetly and indiscreetly. Sometimes there is a lack of warmth so to speak and all you get is a "wham bam" here and over there you might just get a "Long time" of enjoyment. It is amazing how it can be legal in certain areas (Las Vegas). It used to be in Rhode Island - (Wow, never knew that!) One problem arises and boom! It's now illegal. In my opinion, I think the Gov't and Police need to keep their noses out of a person's private business. If they want to pay to get some action then that is their business. One of the funny mentions was the "Massage Parlors" and even when it is mentioned the thought of sexual favors bought is what comes to mind. So the oldest profession is the most lucrative in all aspects of how it is offered and dealt. This book is very informative of where to go if you are in a new city. And as the Foreigner in town, you need to be careful of where you go to get said services. Do your research prior and if you know the native Language that is a plus on your side. If not, then smile A LOT!There were many times I burst into laughter from the Authors comments. It was definitely a great and very informative read. This should be your survival guide of the world of pay to play favors around the world. Be informed, be selective, and above all . . . BE SAFE!!!

Very average. Google will tell you the same thing. No value added.

Play and Pay
Entertaining but a bit short on sexy details. Accurate from my experience without too much emphasis on the many dangers involved.

Good for cheapskate Americans and sex tourists?
One of the things that makes reading some 'field reports' (clients' reviews of escorts) interesting is that they say much more about the reviewer than the person they are reviewing. So it is with this book. The author is American and into not paying very much for his sexual experiences. So there is a general section on the people and establishments you can pay for sex which barely mentions "escorts", never mind discussing the issues around independent or agency workers, then it's onto a tour of Japan and a host of 'Cheap sex holiday in other people's misery' destinations. He likes Nicaragua, for example, because the economic situation there means he only pays someone $12, rather than the $140+ he pays at a US massage parlour. Europe doesn't get a mention, apart from an aside that he's been to Amsterdam. Is the advice any good? I have no idea, and no wish to find out. But apart from the general issues already mentioned, there's nothing that looks bad either, and he's at least respectful of the women he pays to be sexual with, which makes it better than most such guides.
