Differences with this shirt vs other Dickies shirts that are: A Few Dollars More.
I bought one of these LS535DS Dickies to test and compare them against the Dickies shirts that cost $2-4 more on Amazon. Why the difference? I just didn't know all the ways.1. This one really stank out of the package. (Ludo smell bad!, I mean REALLY bad.) Rather than return it or wash with the others, I first washed it by hand in the sink. The water turned brown. And that the smell seemed to be gone. I then washed it with the other new Dickies. After wash and dry, trying this one on and to compare it to the others, none of which I have yet worn.2. This has a rounded front and tail where the others were square. So the Amazon photo on this today is wrong.3. This has an additional Dickies tag off the outside edge of the left pocket as shown.4. This has no pocket flaps, the others have flaps as shown.5. This has a snap at top, the others have a button.6. This XL shirt fits a little smaller than the others.7. This does seem lighter material and perhaps has a more open/airy weave.8. This has a landscape red back of neck industrial clothing look tag saying made in Mexico and does say LS535DS on it. Along with RN206979. The others have a portrait shaped off white tag saying made in Honduras also says RN20697 and then CA0109510 The care tag, both shirts have the RN20697 and then CA01095, but this says LS535DS and the others 1574KH.11. This stinky one had a date of 4/29/18. The others 3/22/18.If I find any significant difference wearing this vs the others as work shirts, I'll edit this review.

Different but the same. But different.
Marginally thinner than the original Dickies brand, which is manufactured in Honduras, vs. this shirt, in Mexico. That really has nothing to do with the difference. It's the material, or lack there of. I'd say this class of Dickies use anywhere from 25-35% less material, which is good if you live in a tropical climate, because its more comfortable for casual wear.Another difference is the flaps on the front pockets. They're missing. You only get a button. And a poorly sewn one at that. So, if you're really hard up for money and need this shirt for whatever reason, then get it. If not, just get the extra Abe Lincoln out for the real McCoy.

Washed it twice and the collar ripped?
I was fairly happy with the shirt, the first time I wore it. The material seemed a little light, and the stitching in the button holes seemed a little thin and I was concerned that it won't stay buttoned because it was a little tight. Carhartt's XL is much bigger. But, I liked the shirt overall, and I especially liked it because the pockets don't have a flap on the front. However, after washing in twice I noticed a small rip in the collar. I guess I'll get another and see if this happens again. Hopefully it's just an anomaly. It's so cheap I'm not going to bother returning it. But, I'm disappointed, of course. Carhartt's material seems much nicer, but I really like the flap-less pockets on the front, so I'll give Dickies one more try .

Best Cook's - Baker's Shirt
I bought this shirt in white to wear in a bakery. I like the fit much better than the Red Kap Chef DesignsButton-Front Cook Shirt, White, Short Sleeve Medium , but the medium fits like a large on me. I wear a medium t shirt, and have a slim athletic build, but the medium was better sized for my coworker who has a heavier build and wears a large t shirt. That said, I like the length, the material is easy-care poly cotton, and the pockets are good for putting stuff in. The left pocket has a pencil slot, and they both have button closures. I'm going to order one in small and I'll update my review in regards to sizing.EDIT: I came back to order a couple more, and realized I never updated my review in regards to sizing. Like I have mentioned, I wear a medium t-shirt, and I have a slim athletic build--the small size fits me perfectly. Actually, the small Dickies shirt is the same size as the medium shirt our laundry service supplies. But I buy my own because they look nicer, and I have a couple of week's worth so I don't have to do laundry every day.

Not what I was expecting.
If this shirt is actually an authentic Dickies brand shirt, it is fabricated differently than any other Dickies workshirt I have ever owned. The material is so thin that it is actually see through! The pockets do not have a flaps on them (which after I received my shirt, I checked and that matches what the picture shows... so my bad for not examining it first before purchasing). Definitely not what I was expecting when I purchased it, but considering it was only $15, my expectations weren't very high as I expected it to be a knock-off.**Update: After washing and wearing this shirt, I am upgrading it to three stars. It is very comfortable and fits me well!

Too Small, and Too Short
This is the most ill fitting shirt I have ever purchased. I ordered, and purportedly received, a 3X Tall shirt. The shirt fits more like a 1X Short. The tail is shorter than other Tall shirts, and I am constantly tucking the tail of this shirt in. No way it is fitted for a tall person. 3X Tall shirts from Wal Mart fit loose, and the tails are long enough that they don't pull out of my trousers with normal activity.Definitely not what I would have expected, since I have worn Dickies brand shirts for years.

Over 7 years I have been using this exact same Shirt type.
light weight, does not need ironed, looks professional, I have a pen, a pencil and a marker on left chest pocket and phone on right chest pocket.these things get abused and beaten, in construction type work every day.I have 5 or so that I have had over 3-4 yrs of Daily use, they are great for mowing and dirty work, since they are rough looking by now :).never a problem with buttons or anything. No bull, good shirt, very good value for a daily hard work shirt that will easily last over a Year and look good.

A good shirt for work
Its a good shirt for work.Although i did miss in the description that it has a popper and not a button for the very top button. But if you have the top one open then it’s awesome

Nice shirt, just too small.
I didn't realise that the shirt came from America and had to wait 2weeks and pay an extra £12 to receive it.
