My wife purchased a dining room set that came with two chairs that have "castors" & swivel seats. One of the chair's castors failed & when I looked closely, it was a cheap plastic unit that just wasn't up to the task. I measured the stem diameter & length of the castor, searched Amazon & found these stylish replacements at a great price. I bought them & when they came, I easily removed the cheap plastic ones & snapped the new, more stylish ones in their place in under a minute or two. The look is fantastic & even my wife commented her approval. Win-Win in my book! I'll be ordering a second set soon for the other chair! (P.s. The chair only uses 4 castors, but the set comes with 5, so I'll have two in reserve if I need them.)

I bought these casters as an experiment for my second office chair. I bought some roller blade wheels first for my other chair. They work well on a hard chair mat. A little more difficult to change direction on carpet. I thought I would try round casters thinking of the smaller point of contact on the caster to the floor. I like the results better than the flat casters. I have no restriction when changing direction on the hard floor mat. I did notice some black spots on the mat. I found out that there is some oil coming from somewhere. I do not think it is the chair. That leaves the casters. I keep wiping the spots up before the oil is tracked onto my office carpet. A little aggravating but I enjoy the ease in which I can roll around my computer desk area now. Price is right. Shipping was quick. Casters fit as described.

Almost threw out a brand new chair from a high end furniture store because my casters were damaged and kept releasing tiny beads. I am so happy I found these. They are a perfect fit and so easy to install and llok exactly like the photo!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

only lasted 42 days and this is out side the 30 day warranty so be careful purchasing these casters.

listed on even this opinion request as "antique brass" but casters are black painted steel with chipped edges. Seem well made mechanically, however.

The media could not be loaded. My husband has this dad chair. It’s the recliner that he’s used for all of his kiddos for sushing to sleep and reading when they were little. The upholstery is so dang ugly and outdated, so now it is the garage chair. We wanted it to be able to move easily so we can get out-of-the-way for cars or garage hangouts. These casters were the perfect solution. The chair moves easily now. He's a big big man and he can sit in it fine. I wouldn’t encourage him to sit while rolling. It’s more move it where you want it to be and then sit down. But that might speak more to the chair leg sturdiness versus the casters Install was super easy. Should have come with instructions for what drillbits to use though. I figured it out fine, but I’m sure it be helpful for some.
