Great American Motorcycle Tours Paperback – May 14, 2013

Finally a book for riders looking to tour and the best part if you purchase it for your amazon kindle the writer includes the internet address for many resorts, tourist information centres, eating establishment etc. You can just click on the link view the website and then return to reading the book. This helps to put a picture to the places he is describing for rides. Excellent book would recommend it to anyone looking to do some serious touring.

Nice book for planning purposes. However, it does not show any roads within 100 miles of where I live. I have given on some of these roads and I agree with their assessment of those roads, so I assume they will be spot-on with their other road reviews.

Haven’t taken a trip yet

There are some good rides listed, and some good tips for road trips as well. Recommended reading for motorcyclists everywhere.

This book is entertaining, as well as informative. This book works well when used in conjunction with his road trip book.

It is great for planning trips in the U.S.A. with fun facts throughout the book. The list of websites at the back of the book is extremely helpful for detailed planning or enhancing your knowledge on the motorcycle industry.

Great trip ideas and I will surely use them to plan my own adventure. However, not sure when this addition was published but there hasn't been a helmet law in Texas for at least ten years...

Ordered this fifth edition but received second edition which looked used with the writing of 50cents on the inside cover. Looks like Amazon has a problem shipping what I ordered.
