Great catback for the price. Nice sound!
I was a bit skeptical on this exhaust at first. I didn't want anything loud and crackly. However, with me getting older, I didn't want the Tanabe RM anymore either. I picked this cat back exhaust up for under $250.00 shipped to my door. The exhaust itself was beautiful. Everything bolted up perfect. There were no problems with fitment or the hangers, nothing rubbed. The sound is still a little bit deeper than I wanted, but it's clean. VERY clean sounding. There is no crackle with my setup. Just a clear and clean deep tone. The one thing I couldn't stand with this, was the exhaust tip. It was 4", which isn't my taste at all. You can also tell the company didn't change a lot around to get this to fit on the hatchback as the tip stuck out past the bumper about 4 inches. Again, not my style. Shortly after the install I cut the exhaust tip off and bolted on a small finisher that I got at Autozone of all places. I'm very pleased with the look of the muffler now.

Sounds Amazing
I hate the stereotypical Honda "ricer" sound. This exhaust sounds amazing, it's deep and doesn't really drone (as long as you have a cat). This exhaust has almost zero to little rasp and has a deep bass sound to it. Build quality is superb and the welds look great! The only downside is that after about 2 years or less the sound deadening/packing in the muffler starts to really break down and stop working, which then can lead to more rasp. I used it years back on my stock D16y7 and then got a new one when I built my Boosted B18c5, the sounds are amazing and the bang for your buck is well worth. Just remember that you might have to replace it every couple of years if you're okay with that.

Excellent Quality, Even Better Sound
So I read every review I could of the Yonaka catback for EK Honda's. My 96 CX Hatchback has a B18B swap with a B16 trans. I wanted to have something custom built locally, but couldn't find anyone to do a full system for less than 6-800 dollars. While I realize that is probably the going rate, I wanted something that was not overly loud, would not drone on the highway and wouldn't abuse my wallet. This system sounds impeccable. For a 4 cylinder exhaust it is extremely good at balancing tone and rasp. There is no drone on the highway (with a B16 trans I pull almost 3800 rpm at 60.) I had my concerns. The only critique is that I suspect a longer resonator would help alleviate a 3100 rpm rasp that is present in the exhaust.Overall, you can't do better for the price. At cruising this exhaust sounds expensive, quiet, and tasteful. At WOT it screams like any performance exhaust, reminding me why I swapped my motor.

Not quite 5*
Would've gave a 5 star review but can't. Everything works great, and the bonus stuff and the packaging are great but...i was missing a seal and a 2 sets of nuts and bolts.

Better than those cheap exhaust systems.
Best money spent. Didn't want to buy those stupid annoying exhaust that's loud for no reason. Easy to install and bolted straight to my headers. Fast shipping and came with more than what I expected. Nice deep tone. Definitely will buy for my other Civics. Definitely recommend.

Great Looking Mandrel Bend Exhaust, Poor Presentation
Right out of the box, this Yonaka Exhaust came pre-packaged with a set of (2) Yonaka Motorsports license plate frames, (1) Yonaka Motorsports lanyard, (2) Gaskets, (8) Bolts and Nuts for the exhaust system. It is a 3-piece exhaust. The packaging was simple; the item had been rolled within bubble wrap, secured by clear tape. The box measured about 5'x1', which had the Yonaka Motorsports lettering on it.Now into the product itself; the exhaust piping. Upon inspection of removing the bubble wrap from the exhaust pipes, the long pipe (with the resonator) had a few dents. Keep in mind this is freshly out of the box. I wouldn't say that it was due to the "neglectful UPS", I'd say these dents somehow past inspection (if Yonaka even inspects their products before sending it out). I am quite unsatisfied with this presentation on such beautiful stainless steel equipment. In addition, the muffler itself was less polished, had a few scratches, and mini sized dents as well. These were the only issues I had to deal with, which Yonaka should be at fault.Installation was simple. Everything bolted right up, but keep in mind that if you DO have an ASR sway bar, or any sway bar, this muffler will not be able to fit onto your vehicle. I bought this product praying to god that it would fit without any modifications. Unfortunately, I need to modify the exhaust to fit with my coinciding rear suspension setup. Take this mistake of mine to your benefit, potential buyers!Exhaust sounds decent, does have a slight rattle to it, I am hoping to find this problem at my local muffler shop.Overall, I'd rate this product:0 - (horrible)5 - (decent/you get what you pay for)10 - (flawless)Presentation: 6/10Sound:8/10Installation Difficulty: 0 (no difficulty with stock rear suspension)Price: 7/10Would I purchase this product again?- Yes, if I am guaranteed that the exhaust will not have the dents it initially had before being sent to me.Again, my vehicle is a 2000 Honda Civic 3DR DX Hatchback with a B series motor.

Great exhaust. Only problem was that the catback was about 4 or 5 inches short from the headers, welded a pipe yo connect both together and it sounds great. Loud from the outside when you really step on it and quiet in the inside

Sounds good till it breaks.
Was fine for about nine months, then the muffler rusted off the exhaust pipe.
