ECCO Women's Offroad Open Toe Sandals

These are really designed for walking, as in Walking Holiday. They can be adjusted by the 3 Velcro straps so they can be tweaked to make them fit perfectly. The design with the side bar along the outer side of the foot makes them very stable and your foot is unlikely to roll (pronate). While outer sole is sturdy, the inner sole is gently cushioned and not too bouncy. They may not be suitable for wearing to a wedding or an interview but if walking along country paths or for walking around a city they would be ideal.These Ecco sandals were half price in the recent Amazon promo which adds to the feeling of walking on air, so an altogether fantastic pair of shoes.

Look nice. Good fit. Adjustable straps. Very comfortable. Good support. I walk better in them. Very pleased.

Pleased with these though they seem a bit bulkier/wider than my last version which finally broke up. I also preferred the dimpled sole of the old version which was like a mini massage when walking. I tried on a couple of other brands but these are definitely the best of the type. The photo makes this Atmosphere colourway look pink, they are not, just a couple of shades of beige, with a slightly pink stitch accent as I expected.

This is my third pair of these sandals. As soon as the weather is warm enough the boots are ditched! I dread the weather changing and winter coming because I do not want to take these sandals off. I just walked around the Chelsea flower show for hours in brand new sandals and not a inkling of a blister anywhere.

From the moment I put them on from the box I knew they were a winner! Excellent stability and comfort and smart for holiday day time and evening. Not too wide either. Very flexible with all the adjustable straps.

These are incredibly comfortable sandals which literally hug the sole of your feet. A previous question regarding whether there is arch support has been asked, and some have said 'no' in response. There is! The sole is shaped higher under the arch and with my flat feet and arthritis, this is essential. Some have been negative too about the Velcro fastenings, saying the one over the front of the foot is for decoration only. Again, not entirely true. It does adjust the width slightly, with elastic underneath, so unless you have extremely wide feet, I can't see what the problem is. I have bunions - due to too many years during my youth wearing high heels - and these sandals easily expand to accommodate. Sturdy enough for walking on rough terrain, whilst stylish enough to add interest and colour to your summer outfits. My winkle picker stiletto shoe days may be over, but I'm not compromising style for comfort just yet!
