Thompson's Water Seal TH.043861-16 Waterproofing Stain - Solid, Coastal Gray - 1 Gallon

I wish there had been more color choices, but otherwise the new and improved product is great. It is more of a pudding consistency so it doesn’t splatter, and it spreads just as easily as the more liquid version used to do. It dries much more quickly than the old liquid version did. It dried in less than a day, and we used to expect it to be tacky for two full days. It looks beautiful!

I painted the floor in my shed its roughly 12 x 24 feet one gallon almost covered both coats had to use just a bit out of second gallon to finish it looked great after second coat waited about two hours to apply the second coat the floor was new unfinished treated plywood we will see how well it wears but it was easy to handle and went down fairly easy with a roller

I always buy this stuff to use water proof my deck and fence. Its easy to use and it works well.

Acorn Brown! Needed and got Great coverage! My Deck was splotchy looking from whatever previous home owners had done. I power washed it Monday, stained it Tuesday. Took 3hrs. Applied with paint roller on a wand and touched up with brush. Super easy. Yes it's thick, but my old deck needed it. Soaked it up uniformly and it looks brilliant. Buying woodland cedar for cedar picnic table next!

Posted a pic of the bench half done so you could see how it took mostly ignored and weather beaten wood and restored it nicely. The color is rich and bright. We love the patio furniture now.Just know that this stuff goes a long way. I barely used 1/4 of the can on 2 chairs, a bench and the table.

First of all, my wife likes the color. This product does what it is advertised to do. Water will pool on top of the stain and remain until it evaporates several days later. This price point is much better than any of the big box stores as well.

When using the product it had clumps in it and clogged sprayer.Used the clear before and didn't seem to last. Always looked dirty, so trying the Coastal Grey.Used on an outdoor swing.

This was so ridiculously easy to use. I’ve never worked with stain before, but this was great. Opted for two coats for a little free library just to add richness and more protection, although it was gorgeous and had great coverage with just the first coat. Highly recommend!
