Amazing
This is really good, the flavor is unique and very pleasant! It's a bit expensive for general use, though.

Expensive but brilliant. So worth it.
Brilliant. Expensive but brilliant. Tried this last year, savored it drop by drop. I could not get it out of my mind but lost the bottle and label. Just found it again buried under seed packets. This can be used on mascarpone with a few walnuts, or dribbled over vanilla ice cream with grilled peaches on the side. Or, in an orgy of extravagance, use with butter over waffles. It's unique. Reminds one of the scent of the air during a walk through a pine forest during a dry, warm day.You can make a simple syrup to help stretch it out but thin it separately at each use, not all at once. Total yum.

Not even a hint of pine
I do not understand the positive reviews at all. I was expecting pine flavor, and didn't even get a hint of it. I feel like I paid $26 for a tiny bottle of syrup.

Somewhat disappointed
The aroma and flavor has no piney-ness to it. At all. It tastes like a simple sugar that’s been heated to a syrup. Maybe the recipe changed… I’m making my own mugolio and I was hoping to have a good professional flavor profile to compare my home made syrup to. Maybe another brand will taste different. I’m just starting my own but mine has a distinct pine aroma - although I haven’t tasted it yet. This syrup that I bought has none. None at all and pine is a pretty distinctive aroma.

Neutral not what I’ve expected
I’m not sure what to think about this product, it taste simply like caramelized sugar, I thought the syrup would have at least some amount of 🌲 taste , so now I’m sceptic to what am I actually tasting water and sugar? Or actually pine products with hints of sugar.. I’m very sceptic, I’ll do more research and I will more likely NOT to reorder again..

Surprisingly versitile smoky flavor
I had this in a restaurant over venison loin and parsnip puree. It was so good I decided to add it to my desert of blackberry bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. It tased great over both.I found the flavor to be distinctly smoky maple syrup with notes of pine nuts and maybe a hint of malt. Not really any pine needle flavor, although I bet it would pair really well with rosemary if you wanted to add more of a pine needle flavor.

Delightfully tacky
Absolutely delicious taste, but I don’t recommend this as lubricant.
