Rustic Weathered Reclaimed Wood Planks for DIY Crafts, Projects and Decor (12 Planks - 12" Long)

I'm always having problems with towel racks for the bathroom with drywall and 2"x4" studs. The studs never line up with the towel racks' mounting screws (studs not exactly on 16" or 24" or not located in a symmetrical position for the rack to mount to) and I find myself having to use the various drywall mounting options which always only work for a few years before the racks start to wobble and eventually come off the wall. I glued a 1"x4" pine strip (which comes in a 3 1/2" width but I had to rip it to 3 1/4" to match the plank) to one side of the reclaimed plank then wrapped it with a 1"x2" strip of mahogany, used a router to cut two keyholes into the back (so I could mount it to the studs in the exact location I wanted it), clear coated it, and finally hung three towel hooks. It came out great and looking forward to not having to deal with the towel rack again!

I recently quit my job and was looking for some projects around the house to stay busy. I decided to build a shelf in my closet but didn’t want to spend too much since this was my first DIY project, and I wasn’t sure how it would turn out.I took a chance on these wood planks, and I’m so glad I did! They were super affordable, have a great rustic look, and were easy to cut with my bevel saw. As a total newbie, I had to pre-drill holes for the screws, but I’m sure a more experienced DIYer or carpenter wouldn’t have any issues.I love the color and plan to buy more for future projects! Highly recommend!

Looks like barnwood

I would have rated 5 except 1/3 of the pieces were bowed, similar to a barrel stave. My project require reasonably flat surface. Everything else was pretty much as expected. Will order again and hope pieces are flat this time.

As described. Good price for nice pieces of solid wood.

Boards are awesome, I haven't used them yet as wife wanted me to hold off making the halltree so I'm looking to do a different project

These were used for rustic-looking signs in the museum where I curate exhibits. They were perfect: just the right size, and the signage letters adhered well.

It was the size described however the picture shows assorted they were all the same just cut up seasoned(grey) wood. Some were warped and split. Probably wouldn't order again.
