Effective treatment but needed regularly

Very rare for me to give 1* reviews, but this definitely needs it. I have a well managed small pond, perfectly clear water. The pond is approximately 4500 litres, so this product should be ample for 2 treatments, who are they kidding?Started getting duckweed last year, but left it to see what would happen. This year got worse so decided to use this product. Followed instructions, cleared as much of the duck weed that I could (probably 80%) and left for a week. Dosed it again, and the duckweed kept on coming! Tried again, took about 80% of the weed out and waited. Dosed again after 4 days and 4 days later the duckweed has again multiplied to cover 90% of the pond. This product is rubbish, and from a well known pond accessories company, this is unacceptable. Do not buy!!!!!!

Duckweed is notoriously difficult to seal with especially though the summer months.I think this product has had some effect this year but have had to increase the dose slightly and use it weekly for it to do much good. Can't say it's completely ineffective but you have to really persevere with it !

Item as expected and wanted, have used it before. Received very quickly. All good.

I used this product exactly as described over a period of four weeks and the only Duckweed that disappeared was that which I removed manually. If there was any so called bacteria in this product it is obviously long departed. Have asked for my money back due to the total non-performance.

I have used this before with results that were OK but not perfect. This time I knocked off the UV lamp and it has gone from a pond completely covered in duck weed to virtually eradicating it completely.
