I purchased two of these, each a different color. They are made from a thin wool yarn, they are not very thick, heavy, or soft at all. I know it’s wool, but these blankets just feel very rough. The worst part is they arrived with a horrible smell like dirt and chemicals. The smell lingered on my clothes and hands after using it. Not something I wanted to snuggle up with. So I washed both blankets on cold and delicate. They still had the awful smell. I had to wash them twice more. At this point they still have a slight smell, only now of course they are shedding like crazy. I hung them to dry so we will see what happens when they dry. Overall I would not purchase again and would not recommend these for the price. You could get a much nicer quality blanket for the cost of these blankets (and one that’s not made in China).

I'm surprised how much I am enjoying this blanket. It feels really great to the touch, and I love curling up for a nap with it. The quality is great. Pure wool has a very different vibe from synthetic materials. It feels 'real' and I appreciate that.

it's beyond what we expected! the material 100% wool feels so soft and comfortable! first time we selected the grey and cream color with small size,the grey color wasn't quite match our bedroom decoration, also the size not was suitable for our queen bed. thankfully amazon made the return so easy and picked up following day! Because we love the material and texture so much, we reordered another color-powder pink and cream, in a larger size-87 inches by 102 inches! after ordered, a little bit worry about what exactly powder pink looks like, but in reality it is exactly what we want! actually the color is substituted and light, not too strong pink! see the photos!thank you so much amazon delivery 📦 so effective! definitely recommend to everyone!

I purchased this throw to take with me to college baseball games. The season starts in March and it is very cold in the mountains of North Carolina. I did not get to use it because the season was cancelled. However, I know it will be perfect. It is large enough to double when it is really cold. I purchased the mustard/yellow and it is perfect. The school colors are purple and gold. It is very well made. The wool does smell, but I think it will be fine if washed. Thinking of purchasing another one in a different color to use indoors this winter.

It is surprisingly soft and light weight for wool. I was using it for viking age reenactment camping so probably to lightweight, it did not keep me warm very well. But it is a beautiful blanket that is perfect as an at home throw blanket

We had this blanket for a few weeks now, and it's a hit. It is huge, so that it covers everyone on the sofa with ease. It is soft enough. There is this just a slight scratchiness that you would expect from wool. I like the natural sheep smell which is very light, and can only be smelled when you dig your nose into it. To me that adds to the coziness. Besides the different shades of grey fit well to our grey sofa, and look very stylish.I would buy it again.

It’s right in the Goldilocks zone: Lightweight (but not too light), thick (but not too thick), warm (but not hot). For me, it’s perfect for sleeping in any room from 45 degrees F up to 70 degrees. It’s also soft (cozy), good looking and very well made.

Theoretisch hätte die Decke für Optik, Verarbeitung und alles fünf Sterne verdient. Allerdings ist es nicht schön, dass sie echtbextremen "Haarausfall" hat... Wir haben dunklen Boden und ich kann nach jedem Decke bewegen alles staubsaugen weil der Raum voll Flusen ist. Ich hoffe dass sich das nach dem ersten woll-waschgang legt. Schade. Habe viele Wolldecken. Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Wenn man dunkle Kleidung trägt hängt nachher alles voll mit hellen Fusseln... Sehr ärgerlich! Wer das nicht mag kauft lieber eine andere!

I bought this blanket to keep me warm at night as the temperatures are dropping both outside and in my apartment. It is a little big for my bed so I folded it double (that makes it about 130cm wide and 220cm long). The blanket kept my cat and me nice and warm through the night. I have not slept so well in a long time!I will definitely buy more of these, but maybe a different size.Just so you know: the blanket is 100% wool and will smell of wool which for me is not a problem, but others might react to it.

Bevor ich mir die Decke gekauft habe, hatte ich hier einige Kommentare durchgelesen.Und: Selbstverständlich ist diese Decke nicht so megaflauschig, wie eine mit rein chemischen Fasern hergestellte Decke.Es handelt sich um ein reines Naturprodukt, mit allem was eben eine Schafschurwolle so mit sich bringt.Da einige schrieben, dass sie am Anfang flunst, habe ich die Decke gleich als sie kam im Feien als erstes richtig auf- und ausgeschüttelt.Zur Qualität kann ich nur das Beste berichten. Schafwolle ist etwas rauer, ich habe zum Schlafen noch ein leichtes Baumwolltuch dazwischen. Sie wärmt hervorragend, ohne dass man ins Schwitzen kommt, was für mich sehr wichtig war, da Schafwolle eine regulierende Eigenschaft hat.Zum Geruch: Die Decke riecht nicht sehr stark nach Schafwolle und nach ca. 24 Std habe ich gar nichts mehr gerochen und auf keinen Fall deswegen waschen!Wie schon gesagt, es ist halt ein Naturprodukt! Ich würde sie wieder kaufen!

Bought this bigger blanket for double bed after buying the smaller throw initially. Wanted an alternative to polyester fleece due to asthma. Lovely and soft, looks nice although pattern less intricate than smaller throw. Prompt delivery. Warm and lightweight and washes well on cool wool setting. Just wish it was available in other colours available with smaller throws. Recommended.

Well made herringbone design throw purchased in chocolate brown/cream that compliments existing furniture. Well packaged, no smell issues (as noted by one of the other reviewers) and received quickly. So impressed I’ve ordered another throw in moss green/cream to use in one of the bedrooms. Dimensions of the throw are 220 (L) x 140 (W)cm so this product will not cover a whole bed other than a single, however it would still make a great throw for the end of a double, queen or king size bed. Similar style product from John Lewis (smaller in length) would cost around £89. Getting this warm yet not too heavy throw at reduced cost (£55) was a bargain - would recommend to others.
