Given 3*** because...........
I have given this item a 3* because at this moment in time i do not know how this battery will turn out. Recieved the battery with zero charge & when charged up for the first time battery level showed 100% charge but after 20 mins showed 50% then went flat & screen went blank. I have now charged this battery around 20 times & it seems to be holding the charge a bit better but will only last about 1 hour just playing the games that are on the laptop ie. soliare, hearts etc. NOT from downloads. Play music & i will get less. I don't know if the battery will get any better the more i charge it or if i now have the battery at full charge. From the first charge it shows 100% but has gone from 20 mins to 1 hour after 20 charges all showing 100% fully charged ??. Was going to return the battery has being faulty but looked into it a bit more & found out it could take many charges before it will operate at full power but how many i can't say...... Supplier gave no information on charging unlike other suppliers/makes i have used. May add to this review if things change one way or the other.

Produces Confusing Battery Level Readings
Item fitted with a minor extra push. Charged relatively quickly and when used to power the laptop seemed to work ok but when the laptop was registering 30% the battery seem to quickly run out of power and the laptop would shutdown. However, after a short time of charging and with the battery registering 10% the laptop worked ok on battery power with a normally level reduction. This is not a problem for me because the battery is only there in case of mains power failure.

Short life
Bought this to replace a battery for an acer aspire 5630. Charged it up and ran it down twice. With 100 % of battery life I put you tube on and watched battery level . Started at 0928 and at 0955 the battery reading immediately went from 42 % to 0% in a few seconds. This battery is useless to me .

Good product
A bit of a later review but I've been using this product for a few months now and can confirm that I'm very happy with it.
