Excellent Bike, vey simple to put together.
Excellent Bike, I do not understand some of the negative reviews!First of all the bike come almost totally assembled. All you have to do is put on the front wheel, the bike handle and then insert the brake cable into the handle and finally push down the seat and lock the hand clamp down on it. Compared to other bikes I have bought for my son where I had to put on the rear wheel, Chain, chain guards and then assemble all the brake components etc this one was a breeze.ONE PIECE OF ADVICE:I do see some people saying that getting the front brake cable into the brake handle is difficult or impossible. This is true if you don't know a simple technique.1) You need two people to do this. First unscrew the silver piece that the cable goes through on the break handle.2) Put the front wheel on but don't push it into the fork slots, instead push it past the slots till the tire is rubbing into the metal of the break caliber.3) Have your helper squeeze the break pads together so that the brake rubbers are going into the spoke area, this will give you the extra length on the cable that you will need.4) Line up the slots on the silver pieces shaft and the slot on the nut, so that the cable can go in between both of them.5) Once the cable is in the silver piece push the cable into the brake lever and get the round lead looking piece into it's slot. Your helper may have to squeeze the calipers together a little harder at this point so that you get as much cable as possible.6) Once you got the cable lock in place screw in the silver piece and lock it down with the nut. That was what worked for me. I had the brake done in about 5 minutes.Overall the construction of this bike is excellent, the frame is heavy duty and the bike just feel very solid. Excellent paint job and I like the fact that even the tires came inflated. Maybe the only thing I wish they had included was an allen key for adjusting the handles angle. Oh and why are the rear brakes optional? I know rear brakes don't do much for stopping power, but they are really cool for kids to do tricks on the bike.

Sturdy bike made in America
My son received this bike for Christmas and loves it! This should last and not fall apart. Very impressed for the price!

Awesome bike for post training-wheel riders
This is a very nice bike for younger riders who have not yet advanced into jumping or other BMX style riding. It is well built and definitely sturdy enough for street/playground riding. Also I want to emphasize that the issue of the front fork being too narrow for the wheel has been corrected! My only complaint about this and other 20" bikes is that some bicycle "expert" decided that all kids riding such a big bike would be beyond the training wheel stage. And they made sure you couldn't put training wheels on it by shortening the rear axle! So there is no space to install both the training wheel bracket and a fully seated wheel nut on each side. Our grandson was just learning to ride when the pandemic hit, and had to go back into learning after growing out of his old bike. I'm sure other kids never learned when they were younger and would still need training wheels on a 20" bike.

buy it!
great bike. it's heavy but that's not a problem - will probably help it hold up better. we did have a little trouble with getting the wheel on. had to spread the forks out a good bit to get it to let the wheel in. we had not had a front brake bike before (he's 7) but in one day, he was already used to using it. the best feature is the seat adjustment - it has a clamp so you can raise and lower the seat as needed without tools. very cool. consider buying a fender - my boy gets mud splattered all the way up to his cap. really pleased with the bike. good deal.

Was VERY Disappointed.
This bike had good and bad reviews. I've NEVER had any problems with Amazon, so I was hoping after receiving the bike that ours would be one of the success stories and I'd be giving it 5 stars on here shortly after. NOT! We got one of the nightmare bikes. Was a hassle to return it after finding out during assembly that the bike had a serious manufacturing defect. Fork for front wheel was just too narrow so the front wheel could never be put on. Spent over an hour attempting to put together a puzzle that was NEVER going to come together. Instead of my son getting a bike for Christmas, he just got a picture of a bike saying that one was on the way :( I returned it.Then ordered a Dynacraft 8109-34ZTJ Boys Throttle Magna Bike (easiest bike to assemble. Was mostly pre assembled too! And for almost half the price!) Laughing at the whole thing now... but it was still such a waste of time.

Great for the price
I always buy Walmart bikes for my boys. They ride ruff. My son wanted a blue bike and I couldn't find one. So, we tried Amazon. It was shipped to my door. My husband had to put it together but the quality was to be expected for the price. My son is 6 and didn't need training wheels because the previous reviews had me a little concerned about over all bike quality. Wheels aligned, no problems with peddling or braking, no chain getting caught on cogs or side bar. Kent is a new brand product for me but I would buy again for a growing boy.

Good for just the aesthetics
The bike came with flat tires. It looks nice and my 9 year old son likes it but I’m upset about the tires. Now I have to find either new tires or a way to put air in it

Instructions are impossible to follow
The instructions to put this together were so vague that I had to refer to the picture online. I couldn't get the front breaks to work properly and ended up taking them off. I wasn't sure if it was something I did to mess them up or if it was because the instructions were just that bad. The color is bright and almost metallic looking. Everything seems to be high quality. The seat was larger than most kids bikes and made of good material. The pedals were heavy and firm. My only problem came down to the instructions being so poor that I had to discard the front breaks. I am pretty disappointed by that.
