COOL·CAR Car Ashtray, Easy Clean Up Detachable Car Ashtray with Lid Blue Led Light and Removable Ceramic liner for Most Car Cup Holder (Silver)

This is a very nice ashtray, however, I have not found a way to take the lid off so I am not able to remove the ceramic cup inside. Is there a trick I need to know about? There are no helpful descriptions on how this can be done.For now, I will clean it very carefully as best I can.I could not recommend this to anyone without telling them about this issue. Then they can decide.Hopefully someone has an answer that tells me how to take this apart. Maybe the company?

I really like these ashtrays and have purchased several over the years. However, I can't figure out how to get the liner out to wash it. I've tried to screw it off but unable to. Any ideas? Getting frustrated with this one.

I like the ash tray except that I bought it for the lighted feature. The light doesn't work unless I hold down on the battery cover. Nice unit if you don't want the light.UPDATE, Amazon sent a new one at no charge, and took the originally purchased one back. New replacement works great.

Love this item, matches the interior of my CTS. Light makes it easy to see in the dark. Keeps ashes from flying all over the car when not in use.

the ashtray is as pictured and the light is perfect however it's just a bit short in the cup holder and it's not very easy to empty. All in all it's a good product !!

It does what it's supposed to do. Just be careful emptying it because the ceramic insert will fall out into the trash. Also, it doesn't lock, so it could open if not sitting in the cupholder.

I ordered two of these but one does not function properly. I have to squeeze the lid to get the light to occasionally work. I made sure the battery cover was on securely. We'll see how long the other lasts.

Very nice, as described and fits in my vehicles cup holder perfectly.
