Great product, poor shipping practices
Ordered 8 jars of this item, unfortunately 2 jars are broken at delivery. They were bubble wrapped but placed into a cardboard box that was much too big and allowed them to move around freely and able to smash into each other

This is the second time I’ve ordered this product it is absolutely the best tomato purée you can find.Five stars for the product, one star for the shippingHowever if possible do not allow them to use UPS as the shipper because look at what happened here. All bottles were broken and there was even mold on the inside which means it had been broken for quite some time.

FOOL PROOF, changed my meals forever
Once I started buying tomatos from glass over aluminum, it completely changed the flavor of our dishes. You will be amazed! I started making all sorts of new dishes with this, meals I could never master before like curries, traditional Italian, etc and my family is loving the gourmet touch.This is a step above the other glass-contained tomato purees, the flavor is so much fresher, and only gets sweeter as you cook it longer. When it reduces down to a thicker consistency it gets a beautiful soft texture that piles up nicely. These are the sweetest tomatoes I've found, the flavor gets sweeter the longer you cook it (as opposed to competitors' purees which can get more bitter/acidic).The consistency is not diluted, which makes this a great option for Assassin's Spaghetti (Spaghetti all'Assassina) which needs a nice thick puree.Try challenging yourself to a meal you feel is daunting, you can't go wrong with this magic in a bottle!

The flavor is delicious
This is hands down the best purée on the market. I cannot get it local so I order with Amazon. It was a bit of a wait which is fine. One bottle was shattered this isn’t ok. I see a lot of customers write same issue. I would suppose it’s being roughly handled at the warehouse. I do highly recommend this sauce. It’s Absolutely delicious. The sauce gets 5 stars. . I’m Sicilian, I cook lots of sauces and nothing is as good as Mutti. Amazon look into the constant breakage.

Mutti Passata is the best, but 3 out of 4 bottles were broken, because of one layer of bubble wrap between heavy glass bottles is insufficient protection. Very disappointing that so much of this wonderful product

Legit Sauce
This is a very basic tomato sauce. It’s not filled with salt and sugar. Best jar sauce you can get.

Packaged incredibly well, product of Italy, arrived faster than expected
A lot of reviews had issues with packaging and a bottle or two being broken, but mine was packed in some HEAVY duty inflatable stuff. They were super secure. I am incredibly impressed with quality of bottles and color of sauce. They were planned to come a week or two later, but ended up arriving in 2 days which is AWESOME. Haven't tried it yet but plan on trying some authentic Italian recipes for the first time like gnocchi alla sorrentina (Christina's Kitchen recipe), lasagna al forno and ragu alla bolognese (Inside the Rustic Kitchen's recipes). I am so excited to use these!!!
