This is an amazing schematic rendition of very rare Panzers that were the hallmark of German engineering and design. This piece is for the modeler but in general is for anyone who wants a better appreciation for Panzer forces.

Jentz and Doyle presents a fascinating and well researched book on two tanks that were nearly forgotten by history. It provides accurate scale drawings and historical information on the vehicles. This book diffuses common myths (coming from gamers) about the tanks. For example, the Panthrr II was not armed with the 8.8cm KwK 43 L/71.Highly recommended

(purchased from a different on line seller). If you already own Germany's Panther Tank: The Quest for Combat Supremacy by Jentz & Doyle, do you really need this? After all, only 2 prototypes were built and most of the text in this tract is already in their larger book.If you are a modeler, then yes, the schematics and line drawings are fantastic and must be seen to be appreciated. Photos (B&W) are clear, crisp, but this is an expensive add to the library for a concept tank. My main beef with this book is that there are no photos or diagrams of the interior of the turret . There is text, but to me, seeing the inside of the tank is just as important as several pages of running gear or pioneer tools. That's the main reason I bought the tract, to see the Germans turret with the same internal volume as the Panther turret but 25% less weight.In conclusion, superb drawings & photos of the exterior. Nothing on the inside.
