I like this wrist blood pressure monitor as you don't have the pfaff of removing a sleeve to use it.It seems fairly accurate - I tested it against a conventional upper arm one. It also falls in the range of measurements from my GP.You need to sit straight and hold your wrist in line with your heart, but once you've worked out the position, its very straightforward

Easy to use. Intuitive interface. I have large wrists and this fits me fine. I have used a veryy old omron before and this gives a reading much quicker than the old one, better technology probably.No idea if it's accurate or not but certainly seems to give repeatable results whether making a few readings one after the other or making readings over a few days. Don't know on longevity but seems to be made well.

But I think that Blood Pressure reading is never going to be an exact science, certainly not with domestic portable units.I have a full-size unit as well and the results are just as variable, and to be honest, whenever I've had my BP measured in a clinical environment, the results have also varied hugely (partly because i'm stressed out from being in a surgery/hospital).From what I have observed with this particular little machine, both the Systolic and Diastolic readings vary by roughly 10 units either way (+/-). So your best bet using this or any other machine is to take a bunch of readings and average them. The resulting numbers may be somewhere near the facts!It's a very compact little machine and obviously, you have the convenience of wrist attachment rather than faffing around with cuffs and tubes etc.On the negative side: The display has a very narrow viewing angle and is not backlit.What is described as a "Pre-formed Cuff" means that it attaches to your wrist like quite a narrow and very stiff clip. Despite being an adult male I would consider my wrists to be on the slender side, but it's still a squeeze to get this thing attached. There seems to be enough velcro cuff to accomodate wrists of up to about 20cm circumference, which doesn't seem overly generous.

I tried the Blood Pressure monitor it is compact and gives an accurate reading I will be less worried about my health now I can check my blood pressure daily it would have been handy to have a case to store it in.
